Ugh. Decided it was time to upgrade my + only Philips DVDRW228. Big mistake. Got the BTC drive in my box, installed it and immediately upgraded to the latest firmware, stuck in one of the TDK 4x -R's I bought with the drive, and... COASTER! That's not a good sign. I never burned a single coaster...

Nessu 2.10 on suse server 8

Well I meant the servers on that segment don't use SSL, so I've tried both ways, and nothing I'm wondering if it is something else, or if I have something screwed up how do I check to see if SSL is active or not?

That is the issue but the server can not even run a scan so how can it determine if a ip segment is using ssl. I haven't tried to disable ssl on the server. everything installed and complied fine, after starting the daemon, as soon as you log in that is the error.

Anyone know what could cause this message. Remote host is not using the good version of the Nessus communication protocol (1.2) or is tcpwrapped I've looked at the nessusd.conf file and host file on Nessus, and I'm stumped.

Pc Health showing -13volts?

9600pro drivers (3dMark2003)

Well I used the latest power strip and saw that the setting on the card but it's default are 400\300 that is rounded. I know I'm new at this but when it says engin and memory being 400\600 on the site but other tools tell me differently I'm wondering if I just don't understand or ATI lied...

What version are you using, if you are using 10 or higher you can change the port on the (details) tab on the (connection info) and it will not affect the other remote hosts\clients. Have you thought about setting up a VPN and writing a filter to add all the IP's under 1 rule for more...

GA-7VRXP lacks thermal protection????

I just built a system using this MB and I really liked it, it is REV 2.0 and have thermal protection in bios. I don't know about prime but I just run seti for the first 3 days straight just to see if it breaks ans day 2 things are still smooth. I'm not overclocking BTW.

Yea I like it alot, plus multiplayer is fun if you have a team that plays together, What CS should look like. I want sniper missions. Is it me or did the one on one training stop after MOUT?, becuase with 1.22 I went straight to multiplayer.

Neverwinter Nights English Patch v1.22 Now Available!

I have the freeze also on a beefy Xp1900 but I can install it on a t_bird950 and runs fine. that's with Patch 1.22 I can play fine then bomb a freeze, I save alot. I can play longer with the new patch. yes I've upgrades drives and BIOS now I'm replacing hardware.

Mandrake - "Mounting local filesystem" locks

Linux is still coming into it's own, it runs great on older equipment, I like Suse with my G3ti500. You might want to get a copy of Suse for Home or get someone to send you the latest Mandrake beta. Nvidia has great support for g-cards. Plus KDE 3.0 works very well for me and I'm still learning.

Giving Linux another go-round...advice appreciated!

Well I use Suse, and I've updated to 8.0 Pro it was easy and just as fast as an XP install, of course you do need to know something to polish it up. I've also Dl the beta Mandrake 9.X it was sweet from what I've seen never used Mandrake but it was easy and looks good, Just wish Big Red would...

I think its hot. GeForce3 Ti500 64mb ddr $92.

Yea I love that part myself, but atleast they sent us drivers. I got mine yesterday ran fine haven't OC it but it ran fine. It has pretty good scores compaired to my 3ti200 but I wasn't in the market for a major upgrade over all deal not bad for 90+ bucks. what's the refresh rate for those...
