Benchmarking HL2 Source Version 7 ?

Hi guys, I downloaded Anandtech's demos but I can't run the benchmarks. It says demo header is outdated version 6, when my source code is version 7. Is there another way to run benchmarks for Half Life 2? Thanks!

Check out the Seagate 100GB 5400RPM vs the Hitachi 7200RPM comparison I honestly don't think cache makes a huge difference. RPM does.

A little Help from the Experts Regarding 533MHz Front Side Bus and DDR333

So I can't run it at 533MHz FSB for the CPU and 333MHz for PC2700 then since my system bus is designed to match up with PC2100? Another note, the ECS motherboard isn't Dual-Channel compatible. Thanks again!

Well, the Apple forum was very helpful! It looks like the NVIDIA Beta drivers resolved the problem with loosing the resolution. My Radeon X800 arrived and it now shows the bios and tne resolution saves fine! Thanks for everyones response, much appreciated.

Noise levels on 6800 and X800 series cards.

According to GamePC's review of the BFG 6800GT, the fan is loud compared to the Radeon X800 Pro. I am debating between the eVGA 6800GT and Radeon X800XT. Anyone have experience with the noise on the eVGA 6800GT ? Thanks

Yes, I believe so. I've swapped PC2700 SODIMM DDR SDRAM from PC laptops to my PowerBook. I don't see why a PC3200 pulled from a Mac wouldn't work on a PC.
