Perhaps not, but I'm smart enough not to smack someone down on an online forum for what was clearly a mistake. I was tired when I posted. Hopefully you walked away feeling sufficiently superior. If so, my post was not in vain.
Yes, definitely hold out for the Definitive Edition. It's leaps and bounds above the original season sets. Dvdtalk just picked it as one of their Top 20 DVD's of 2005, and they don't award these carelessly.
Hot Deals at AT is a mere shadow of what it once was anyway. Not a lot going on here any more. One person leaving isn't going to kill it. I appreciate joker's deals and am sad to see him go, but it takes more than one person to make a Hot Deals forum.
Yes.
Contrary to the views of many, I thought this was one of the best movies I saw all year. The story was great, the sfx were fantastic and believable, the acting was solid. I also liked the way they took any cliches you may have anticipated and twisted them into something quite different...
1 gig hard drive? Heh--I would have killed for a 1gb hdd back then. I "upgraded" to 120mb and thought I was set for life. 486SX-25 processor--blazing. I bought an "Overdrive Processor" and upped it to a 486DX2-50. And that sweet 8-bit Soundblaster really opened up a new world, if you had your...
For $400 shipping, I'd better have a hot chick with a 360 in-hand knocking on my door 5 minutes after I approve the order, and she'd better bring wine and caviar for me to indulge in whilst she sets the system up for me. Then she can pleasure me as I play.
Other than that, I'll skip it.
If you could pull off a PM to CC's before-rebate price, you could land the AGP card for $219.99 after $30 rebate.
If you have a Best Buy 10% off coupon (recently snail-mailed), $225 out the door for the AGP, or $251 for the PCI-e.
CompUSA also has the PCI-e version for $259.99

Beats me... I assumed ice because the game is called "Ice Land". Perhaps the comet hasn't hit the world and plunged Happy Creature Land into the ice age yet....?
I love that game, I have no idea why. Something about being turned into an eggplant, and that damned music, which still pops into my head after all these years. One of the first NES games I bought and finished.
Incidentally, great post, sintaxera! I'd be very interested if a similar deal comes along for their NES handheld. Though why I'm not sure, in this age of Game Boy Advance/DS/ etc and the NES Classic Series. Somehow I always feel they've been altered, even if it's probably not true. Call me a...
I was here before I was there :) Things were a bit busier around here then..
Thanks... all this NES talk is making wanna play some oldies-but-greaties.
I dunno, man--emulation is cool, (save states in particular) but there's nothing like playing on the original hardware. My top-load NES and my SNES are still going strong.
