Phillips Up-Converting Divx 6 Ultra DVD Player

Mine streams divx just fine from both usb memory stick and usb hard drive, not sure why you say its too slow for movies. Hard drive movies take longer to start about 60 seconds, assumes its buffering... Also picked another one up from phillips employee store for $54.99 shipped last week...

I personally dont see this as an obvious pricing error. I didnt order, but why would someone order a 2005 it at $428 refurbished, when they can buy it at $396 new, or cheaper in the last 30 days? $428 for the 2005 sounds like a pricing error to me, drop it another 90 and maybe i'd bite.

Get the firewire and a cheap card, transfered a partition using partition magic that was over 12 gig full in less then 10 minutes (don't know exactly how long just know when I came back 10 minutes later to my suprise it was done). Lee

Hotter than Indian food: DELL SB Inspiron 8200 for under $1000

Ok, a few points: a. Currently using a DELL Inspiron 8000 with UXGA screen - IT IS WORTH IT!!! and easily readable, more so then my 19" Sony FP , especially using clear type. Can't comment on the UltraSharp as my 8200 ordered with the last 10% off coupon hasn't shipped yet. b. DO NOT upgrade...
