Baffling hardware problem

I'm about to lose my head over this one. My system specs: Asus p4t533 motherboard (new one with fan on northbridge) P4 2.66 mhz 1 x 512 samsung rim-4200 32-bit rdram (everything is default - FSB is running at 533 mhz, the voltages are set to auto, etc.) geforce3 (the first kind - not a "ti")...

Does Gamecube outputs 1080i (HDTV) ?

I am almost positive that the XBox supports up to 1080i resolution, but I am not sure about Gamecube. Though I would imagine it would be something like that.

Is this a decent 3d mark Score for this rig?

Hmm, well I suppose that's acceptable... I got 6786 on my P4 1.7 GHZ 256MB PC800 RDRAM Geforce3 (Dell) Windows 2000... With the new Athlon XP and a gig of DDR I would have expected more, though....

OMG!!!!! My 3dmark2k1 with Det4 ....!

Before with 12.40 = 5930 Now = 6766 That's more than than an 800 point increase! Uh, isn't that unnaturally high? Hehe, anyways, I like it!

Gf3 ultra and mx on way?

Perhaps the mx... but I sincerely doubt that NVidia won't milk every last bit of money for the GF3Ultra.. I don't blame them, though.

P4 1.7GHz seems sluggish

I've got a Dell P4 1.7 GHz, and I asked for PC800 and they gave it to me. It runs perfectly -- everything's basically instantaneous. And it's more stable than any linux/unix machine I've ever used.

Any case suggestions for P4?

I'm not really set on going Intel but in case I do, I was wondering what type of power supply to get. But I'm not sure if the 7237 ps has the +12VDC 4-pin connector, which is what the p4 requires. I have considered an athlon but I don't see it lasting as long as a p4 would in regards to future...

Any case suggestions for P4?

I'm looking at building a new system with an i850 mainboard, 1.5ghz P4. I am looking for a mid-tower case (with an included power supply), but I haven't really done this before. Any suggestions? Is 300w enough? I'm considering a Lian Li PC60, but the price is somewhat steep. I don't really need...
