I like the ferry. That's usually how I go to the city. However, I think it might be outside my budget for a daily commute.

Educate me on commuting to NY

So there is a possibility I'll be working in NYC (Financial District). I currently live in Central NJ (Monmouth County) but may be moving in the next few months. Is my best bet NJ Transit to Newark, then PATH to NYC? I don't want to take the bus. If my info is correct it would be roughly...

Anyone have solar panels installed on their roof?

I see their trucks all over the place by me and they actually have an office/shop in the same office park as me. Seems like business is good. There are a ton of solar panels popping up on roofs lately around here (NJ).

DNS Hosting

I agree, it's technically easy. But we are a small shop (me, myself, and I) I just like the convenience of letting someone else handle it. I can still manage all the records myself. I also think it will be more reliable that way versus being hosted over our Comcast Business cable connection...

Those of you who outsource your DNS hosting, who do you use? I've been using Zoneedit.com forever and have been happy with them but lately I've had some customer service issues. We have 12-15 domains currently. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks DnetMHZ

Calling ATOT plumbers

So we have a Kenmore Power Miser 12 gas water heater. The pilot went out today. If I relight it, it stays lit and the burner comes on for about 10 minutes then shuts off along with the pilot. What do you think is my first step to fixing? Thermocouple?

Beta 2 is MUCH smoother on my 4S. There are a few odd bugs, for example the font color on the status bar at the top keeps changing from white to black making it almost invisible on a darker background.

How intelligent can a two year old kid be?

My 2 year old speaks in full sentences (constantly). Can identify all 26 letters of the alphabet and give words for each. She also knows about 100 words in sign language. and can operate an iphone/ipad better than most adults. ;)

Does anyone have the Dyson handheld DC34? The reviews I see are good except for battery life. Most people say that on high you get about 6 minutes, which is a lot of "dust busting' when you think about it but anyway... I'm open to other suggestions too, preferably something carried at Macy's...
