Simple JSP question

How can I read the values of a TEXT FIELD within a JSP? What is the code that can access the text field? I don't want to pass the values by session to itself.

Anandtech forum info

I am creating a forum in JSP. I love the anandtech forum. Is it possible to obtain an empty DB, design templates and some specs of this forum? I intend to use mySQL for DB, but I am open to suggestions.

Need help with divxs....downloaded.

Ask ur friend which CODEC did he used to convert. Most likely in circulations are 2 codecs, DivX3.11 and SMR. re-install both (doesn't hurt). Also, download DIVFIX.EXE it fixes broken divX movies. Any thing intresting in those home videos? Give me a shout, running out of things to download of...

MSN Messenger Voice Connect behind a Firewall

for MSN voice conv, u need to open port 6901 Bestthing is to open MSn, goto help. Search for "firewall ports" or something like that. It tell u the details for all ports needs to be opened, but 6901 is voice as far as i remember

Removing LINKS in windows explorer

I just hate how XP highlights the folder when cursor comes on it. I know it useful, but for some reason i hate it. Any ideas, how to remove it? I am guessing that its some dll that i have to unregister from registry (since i did tried running win2k explorer on my XP and except this feature...

Password protecting folders

The only thing i can think of is, remove all rights from the folder. and only allow urself to grant permissions (auditing). whenever u want to get in, just change the permission to allow urself and then remove urself too when u r done with the folder.

Dell Monitor

I am getting a deal, Dell monitor 20" Trintron for $229CDN (90 day warrenty). The only bad thing about it is, warrenty and .26pitch. What do u guys think, should I go with it? looking for a cheap, cheap upgrade? Did i mentioned cheap?

I find this really strange. So many genius brains in the world and 100% seemless internet sharing is not available. anyway, I guess I am going to have to stick with regular NAT routers. Which router is the best one to allow customization of SOHO while price is as less as possible?

Access and mySQL

I have two questions. Is mySQL completly different as compared to SQL (in terms of stored format)? [in other words, can SQL file be used in mySQL DB?] How can I convert Access DB to mySQL? (I don't suppose there is any way to use PHP with Access DB)
