Does a 15"LCD sub-6 lbs Centrino Laptop Exist

My Compaq X1050 has Radeon 9200 1.5gig Centrino but it's 15.4 wide screen? Comes in at 6.6lbs, but in the early editions the DVD drive is removable brings it down to 5.9lbs I believe.

Yes, but it's huge in comparison, this is much smaller and it has the radio. Also has a display and OS similar to Dell's jukebox.

That deal stinks of rectal ruin. I just picked up a Presario 1050 for $949 after rebates at Best buy. It's got a 15.4 widescreen, 40gig drive, built in Wireless, DVD-CDRW, and a Radeon 9200 that's cranking out near 8000 on 3dmark 2k1, did I mention it's got a Centrino which is so much better...

XP or A64?

Considering the 64 3000 is much faster than any XP we can mention and it's only around $200 and current motherboards are pretty much top notch I don't see it as being much of a risk. It's what I'd recommend, I don't see you getting anymore performance for your dollar, unless your OCing. Which...

I already have these speakers, got them a year ago at Fry's for $49 for the pair. They're pretty good speakers, the normal price is $89-99 for the pair at Fry's so this isn't very hot to me.

Uh $2696??? I think that buys the top of the line Mitsu 65" which was rated buy AVS as the best television money can buy....... Are you that cramped for space that only a plasma will do? My advice, buy a bigger place, it's a much better investment.
