Also whats the best dvd-rom drive to compliment this burner in terms of better "read" speeds? I heard the NEC isnt so great even with the modded read limits.

I think this may be some sort of driver issue.
Upon a clean driver install I can have my vga connected and then connect my dvi and at that time I can switch between Analog and Digital (dvi) modes via the OSD just fine. However, when i reboot the system I am put into Digital (DVI) mode...
Well.... frankly I was aware of those as they are already "out there."
This question was more to the affect of pointing out upcoming technologies/improvements/features etc... that are on the near horizon.
Lightscribe does look neat.
Have heard the debate on whether or not it will need special "lightscribe" writable cd's, which would make business sense, but definately will add the premium to a cdr.
