WinXP SP2 Downloaded but wont install

I went to Windows Update and searched for updates, It told me SP2 was available. I clicked download, it said it was done and started to install - probem solved. thanks

I can find where it put the files, there does not appear to be anything (setup.exe or similar) to start the installl.

I have nearly 2GB free now. I should clarify when I say won't. Normally when there is something to install the icon appears in the system tray. It is not there so I can't click it to start the update. Thanks

XP 2400+ on a Shuttle AN35 N Ultra START UP PROBLEMS

fsb had somehow set back to 100MHz. Set to 133MHz, windows shows up an XP2400+. I will run SiSandra and see how things are performing. thanks for the help.

thanks for helping. Yes I had win Xp installed and removed the mobo and processor and put everything back as it was - I just booted from my Win XP CD and am going to try a repair if not a re installation. Hopefully that will do it. Thanks again.

Outlook 2000 - change the .pst path?

I did the same thing with more than 2 users and we had problems with multiple parties accessing the files at the same time - you may not be able to do what you want without some groupware.

Lycurgus, you are making this really difficult I was just about set and now I have an alternative.... So what about all the cooling I had above - Boonesmi I saw the prices on SLK 800 and 900 were the same but read that 900 was bigger and there was a possibility of interference with MoBo...

One downside to the Mobo might be the USB ports - only 2?, the specs say 8 x USB Ports (two integrated, six via optional cables), Do you know what the optional cables are? Thanks

THANKS, OK clear on the but I am still unsure. 1. If I did want to overclock what would I chose. 2. If I wanted my PC to wake on modem do I have to jumper 1&2 or 2&3 or leave it jumperless and conversely if I dont want the PC to wake - do I jumper or what/and what? Thanks
