Quake live

Can anyone play Quake live? All over the website it claims to be playable on Macs. I use Firefox and try to play on my Intel based Macbook and a popup tells me I need Firefox to play and my browser is not compatable. http://www.apple.com/downloads...updates/quakelive.html

How to remove Virex 7.7?

I just found this: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=123547 I was able to kill the beast. I will never use another Mcafee product on a personal machine ever again. I still have it on machines at work however.

I have a macbook Core Duo, 2gigs, 200gb 7200rpm. My current battery health shows as check battery and capacity is down to 3622. It is at 278 cycles. I was told by my local Mac tech that it is normal for a battery to last a hour and half, when the cpu is at its highest setting. What kind of...

Xraid with windows

Found out I had start the services. I wanted it to be able to use windows domain accounts, but it only allows login using local accounts. Any ideas? I can see the shares otherwise on windows or mac.

When I did the server os install I did the advance server install. Should have done it differently? I only want this mac pro and xraid to act like a file server. It does not need to do anything else. It would be nice if it could use active directory accounts.

My problem is the person told first that she could do nothing at all. I had to ask about restore disk at first she told me they were not available. I had to keep fussing just to get her to look it up. 40 for a set of recovery disk with tiger on it. I can go get Leopard new from campus computer...

I called Apple, and was told since its out of warrenty, Leopard would cost 129 for a new disc and recovery discs with Tiger is 40. Why does Apple crap on there out of warrenty owners.

Well tried a low level format on it and it failed. I got a new drive. The 10.4 disc won't boot, Leopard it spits out and the original Macbook disc it spits out. Is there anywhere I can get Leopard on cd?
