hows the RMA process with MSI? I just got a 390 also and am happy with it but am curious how it goes.
Do we need to register for the warranty or anything?
I bought the zotac 970 bc I got a good deal at $230... I should have waited for a similar deal on a R9 390.... They will be coming soon.
oh well. I don't plan on going to 4k gaming anytime soon. I am too CPU limited in my current rig.
I have a 5 year old PC, wanted to get back into PC gaming but need to upgrade my 22" monitor, I would like a 27" monitor.
Heres the specs:
Intel I5 i5-760 Processor 2.80 GHz
MoBo EVGA P55 SLI LGA 1156 chipset
8 GB DDR3
PSU CORSAIR CMPSU-750HX 750W
Crucial M4 SSD
I just upgraded...
I have the same question basically:
I have an old PC that I built in 2010 (!!!), I want to make sure it will work with newer PC games such as Metal Gear Solid V & Fallout 4. I just installed windows 10 on it and it still seems to run quite fast for my uses. I mostly surf and play some games...
i had to use my buddies galaxy nexus recently while waiting for my new phone.... its a nice phone but it chugs compared to any 2014 phone... or even a nexus 4.
Can't believe it took you so long to upgrade.
I have been debating lately between a M8 and a OPO.. I went with the OPO again because of the bigger battery/screen..... I had RMA'd a previous OPO because my touchscreen would become unresponsive. I opened up my new one from the RMA... and discover its got a small chip on the aluminum band and...
Yeah split window in touchwiz is actually awesome for that tablet. its alot better than i expected and works quite well. Again the screen is quite phenomenal.
I was able to get the tab s 10.5 for $320 at staples right before black friday... they had some deal going....
The Tab S performance is quite good, if you don't care about gaming so much. I have played with it and the N9 in person and wasn't so impressed by the N9. Screen isn't as nice, 4:3 is not so good. build quality is worse but it is definitely smoother during some parts of the OS.
TouchWiz is...
There is a Chinese version and a international version. Chinese version uses a different ROM.

I would think I will get a maximum for 2-3 years out of any tablet/smartphone these days as tech progresses... I usually upgrade every 2 years or so. That sort of issue is probably not relevant for power users like most folks on this forum.
The CPU/GPU deal is more of if you do gaming. Like I...
Where are these issues with AMOLED burn in? doesn't that only happen if you leave the screen on unused for hours?
I think in my use case 3d gaming is not really something I do... I find touch controls on 3d shooters and the like terrible and frustrating.. so the slower SoC is probably not so...
I wanted to discuss this article:

Looks like the best current options IMO are:
Nvidia Shield
Nexus 9
Samsung Galaxy Tab S
I currently...
^ That sucks! We probably won't see a good release (Stable) release of CM12 until Jan/Feb so I will do the same and upgrade my old N4 to stock lollipop in the mean time.
Chrono, let me know what your impressions are... From reading threads on the OPO site, they are pretty close. Seems like HTC has optimized the battery life a lot.... And much better touchscreen than OPO... might be a winner for me.
yeah i am a bit weary of using OPO again after the terrible time i had with the OPO i just warrantied...
has anyone run cyanogenmod on the M8? do you lose all the cool Sense features?
