I guess $90 for the 520 isnt bad. I was hoping to only spend about $50 on a PSU to save some money. Any cheaper ones that would work? I plan on doing no OCing or adding much more internal components
Right now im in the process of building a very small mATX gaming rig.
I just can't decide on a case. I was wanting on that is pretty small but still fits my video card and also isnt really expensive.
Thermaltake LANBOX
Thermaltake LANBOX LITE is all I came up with.
How many W power...
Is it possible to build a gaming rig matx?
I was wanting...
atleast 6-8gig ram.
ati 4890 gpu
intel i7 core cpu
and possibly something with HDMI out so I can use it as a media center aswell.
Any suggestions?
Okay, I guess I'll have to find a good mobo that will take my e8400 CPU and radeon 4870 vid card and then a nice case that it will all fit in. Anyone make any other case suggestions that are smaller and easy to travel with?
I have 2 HD's and 1 Cdrom drive. I have a case that has 10x HD bays and like 4 CD bays. I dont need allllllllllllllll this space.
Ive been looking at all these micro atx cases and love the way some look. Im wondering if anyone here has build a microatx computer that is able to fit the big...
The Rosewill case is steal so its a lot heavier than the chenming. Any make any suggestions on where or how to get a black chenming 301 or all white one? Or better yet, know of any other Chenming cacses that dont look so bad? :P
Meh just noticed the chenming has no audio port in the front...
The Chenming 301 is listed as only 5lbs but looks ETREMELY ugly but its really cheap. I really dig the look of the Rosewill RZS but cant find a place to buy it online. Or the weight.
I'm looking for a smaller, none 50lb case like I have now.
The on I have has 4 HD bays, 2 floppy and 3 cdrom drive ones.
I have 2 HD's and 2 cd drives. Thats all I really need room for.
I was kinda looking for something that looks kinda contemporary. Doesnt have flashy lights...
I'm about to sign up for Brighthouse Road Runner 7mbps cable internet and I know you used to be able to sign up for just the internet and get free cable. They had to send the cable TV signal to your house to be able to give you internet. Is this true?
Gaming mostly. I do listen to music on my comp, but i'd just use my speakers for that. And yes, 1 headphone is off so I can hear my girlfriend yappin. :P Occasionally I'd use em both on.
I was wanting a long wire or wireless cause I'd wanna wear em while falling asleep. I'd take em off...
Right now im rocking a 8 year old Antec case that is about 3ft. tall and has like 1 HD and 1 CDROM in it.
I want something a lot smaller and a little bit nicer looking. I don't overclock my computer so I don't need something with jetfanes running through it. Any suggestions would be...
Right now im using a 5.1 speaker setup but don't really like it. I'm looking for maybe some headphones that have a pretty long chord or are wireless that would be average for basic gaming. I'd probably be wearing them with 1 ear piece off. Any suggestions?
Okay, looked up what all these actually look like and checked to see if I could hook it up.
I have 2 cords coming from my TV that are the red and white ones hooked to the reciever (basic audio cables). They are hooked up to the back of the TV and arn't hooked into any of source inputs. This...
So I went on a spree and bought to many things. I'm going to list exactly what I have, and maybe someone can suggest the CORRECT way of hooking it up. And not my ghetto rigged way. :)
Also I need some suggestions of okay 2.1 computer speakers and wireless bluetooth headphones for my...
I wanna try this with my cable company. (brighthouse cable) What do I say to the retentions depart if they dont offer me an special packages and I really don't want to cancel?
I can't decide.
One reason im leaning towards the radeon is they have better drivers as far as hooking a HDTV up to your comp and overscaling not being an issue. I'd be getting like $30 back for doing it as well. What do you all think?
VGA port will only do 720p. That res on a 42" TV is just way to big. The mouse is the size of my head :P
I'm using a DVI->HDMI cable.
Powerstrip had no success.
So I bought this card about 2 weeks ago...

I also got a 42" inch 1080p HP TV that I wanted to setup as my monitor.
Hooking it up there is extreme overscaling (1920x1080). (picture displayed is to large for monitor)
Nvida for the...
