XP-120 in a Antec Sonata ON a Abit IS7? Possible?

What are acceptable A64 3000+ temps. Stock

If your system temp is 36C, your idle temps are going to be in the 40's. If you've got it down to 46C then thats only 10C over your system temp. I'm not too sure but I don't think that is uncommon. Try to lower your system temp, maybe you need better airflow in your case.

Tracking voltages

Thanks for the help, I went to Epox and downloaded their monitoring program. However it doesn't seem to measure the 12V line. I'm going to chalk this up to an error on MBM's part, since like you say that is just too low. Better hunt down my ancient voltage meter to be safe though. I'm a newb...

Tracking voltages

I just put a new system together using an Epox 8KDA3J with an Athlon 64 3000. My old PSU didn't have a 4 pin connector so I had to go buy an Antec True Power 430. It's a little disturbing reading the voltages in Motherboard Monitor 5, which says my 12V line is at 9.98V. I have my doubts about...

Arcas, I think it depends if you are running AMD or Intel. Now I don't know much about these voltages and what they power, but I believe I read that AMD machines will draw power from the 12V line for the CPU, while Intel CPU's draw from the 5V line. I have no idea if that is just a general...

Anyone used the SLK800?

what is Best ultra 160 scsi card for pc

Adaptec 29160N, Tekram DC-390U3W, and the LSI Logic SYM21040. The Tekram and LSI cards are 64-bit pci, but they work fine in 32bit pci slots. Personally I would go with the Tekram or LSI and save a little cash, even if they are 64 bit.

New Atlas 10k III not breaking over 40MB/sec...**UPDATE** WinXP Write performance issues

Win2000 = NT 5.0 WinXP = NT 5.1 How'd MS screw that one up? XP is practically the same as Win2000, I would think something like write performance would remain unchanged. I was planning on upgrading to XP soon, but I'll just wait a little longer now until they hammer this problem out.

Is it safe to remove or at least replace the fan on the northbridge of my Epox 8KHA+ ?

Could ISP's Seriously Charge for Multiple Computers?
