Sounds like the motor. I had a similar problem, but a tiny metal spoon had jammed between the outer wall of the disposal and the bottom spinning motor, even the allen key wouldn't budge it. It took a lot of swearing and aggravation but I got that damn spoon out luckily.

I was wondering if someone had some good suggestions for strengthen the upper and lower back ? I tend to tweak them a lot more often as I get older. Overall I'm in pretty good shape, can do 7 miles at a 8 mph pace and do pushups and abs etc.

Just eat like a normal person ( 2000 Calories a day) and then throwing in a one hour of running every other day (Burn 700 calories ) you can easily lose 1-2 lbs a week that way.
