Somebody got ahold of my debit card number and used it at some online casino. Luckily it was only around 10 bucks, because it could've been a lot worse. In order to get the money back, I would have had to go down ot the bank and fill out a bunch of forms and affidavits. In the end, I never...
Must vary based on region. In Columbus you can get 2 large cheese pizzas for 10.99 anytime. OK deal, but there's a lot better pizza joints around the OSU campus than Papa Johns.
gazpacho, por favor
adios muchacho
There are so many subtleties in Seinfeld that are based off real life people or events but usually they go unnoticed by most people.
Not true. All the hosts trick does is eliminate many banner ads from loading on web pages because the computer does not know what IP address to follow to get to the banner suppliers' server. It has nothing to do with spyware. Anybody can do the host trick, even without Kazaa, it has nothing to...
I got it to work on Win 2K just fine. Followed the directions exactly as they were on the page. Copy and paste all those lines into the host file and it will work great. Disables the banners in Kazaa and also the banners at the top of Anandtech pages too! Sweetness
You won't get anywhere emailing them. Their email support blows. Call *2 and they will straighten it out quickly. I had a similar error a few weeks ago and it was fixed in 15 mins.
No they don't. They must have made a mistake, or you told them the wrong thing. If you merely switched to a new plan, they will just make you sign up for a new 1-year contract. No fee. What did they do?
I'd suggest everybody gets on Kazaa or Morpheus or whatever and downloads some great elevator-type music. Then when they call, just put them on "hold" with the phone up to your speaker. It's funny watching how long they actually stay on the line.
Sure, Sprint will give you $70 off, but $50 of that is the rebate offered with any new activation. So you can get the $50 rebate with the #30 deal.
This is actually useful to alot of people. If you had a SPCS phone and bought a new one, you can give your old phone to your kid or something like...
Just to let everybody know, goto www.myron.com, then you can order many of their products as free samples. I ordered a real nice green and gold pen, I use it all the time. It writes real smooth and looks like one of the real expensive ones they sell at office stores. Very impressed, as it was...
1 thing to remember: You won't get anywhere by complaining. You have to tell them you want to cancel your service, then they'll start giving you good deals. Merely complaining about your service is useless.
<< oh yeah, i think i read on cnet a while back that both at&T and cingular are in a joint effort to switch their entire networks to gprs. that means all the goodies that some of the voicestream customers can get today. basically a WAY better version of gsm. you can get AIM on your phone! >>...
SLEEPER -- Yes, the 4700 IS 3G capable. The one I just got 3 days ago says so on the back of the phone. If you don't believe me, PhoneScoop says the same:
This 3G update to the popular Sanyo 4500 is otherwise identical. Notable features include recordable voice ringers and speakerphone...
It should work with any major carrier. There is a thread going with people that tried it successfully at ATT too. It never hurts to ask. Tell them you can get a better deal elsewhere and won't hesitate switching. Of course, it might not work if you're in the middle of your contract.
Just curious, for those of you who said you got the better deal in the middle of your existing contract, how far into your contract were you? I would think this wouldn't work unless you're close to your contract running out, but maybe I'm wrong.
Circuit City was offering a $100 mail in rebate in addition to the $50 SPCS rebate. The CC rebate is good for purchases made thru TODAY (March 2nd).
Vortix -- Some of the phones for SPCS are already 3G capable. I know for sure the Sanyo 4700 is capable of 3G, whenever SPCS gets around to...
Couple ???'s --
First, why is it called Regional Advantage if you can effectively use it anywhere in the U.S. with no additional fees? Then it's no longer Regional.
Second, how does ATT give you access to the Web from your phone? Can you only access certain sites? none? any? Do they just bill...
I think NOT. Oakleys cannot be sold for less than retail according to Oakley.
And also, this site is registered in Croatia or Bosnia or somewhere around there. Don't give this fool any money. By the time he says he'll ship them 90 days later, it will be too late to dsipute the charge with your...
These were all the experiences I had when buying a car in January. I must have ran about 60 Carfax reports in a month or so. Of the 8 or 10 cars registered as rental or fleet, they were all scratched, dinged, stained, etc. whereas privately owned cars were in near mint condition. If you rented a...
A better deal can be found at Circuit City if you're going to buy a Sprint PCS plan. You can get a $50 SPCS rebate and a $100 Circuit City rebate, so basically you're getting the phone free.
$100 cash is probably better to most people than a Amazon certificate
