New build - Fans keep ramping up randomly

Serial vs parallel GPU Bridge (For GTX 1080ti in SLI)

I have no idea how SLI works, but my simple-stupid question would be whether SLI stresses (and causes heat build up) equally to both cards? If so, parallel. If it stresses one GPU more than another then serial, with input favoring the 'primary' card. =|

Yes, you can (and should, IMO) do that. I feel that it's always best to plug in to the motherboard and control fans by adjusting fan curves and setting profiles. =|

One reason why he may have installed the radiator + fans the way he did was due to dust. If the fans are set to exhaust (i.e. blowing air from inside the case to the outside), the current configuration would make the radiator easier to clean. =|
