I once had a Dell w/ XP Pro. I had a 200gb hard drive from it that I used for just storage (it was not partitioned at all). I ran my operating system and programs from a separate hard drive (40gb hard drive).
I've just built a new XP Pro machine (using parts from my old...

are there any online studies or reviews on the quality of speaker wire? i'm sure it makes a difference in sound quality, although i doubt i could tell. just curious...
Man I get a headache everytime I look at that thomasdistributing site. Such a poor layout, overwhelming amount of info, and cluttered, but besides the crappy website, I have to say the maha chargers do rock.
in my opinion a sony wega is worth a $100 more. sony wega uses a flat picture tube which creates a much nicer and sharper picture than a round picture tube tv. you don't necessarily have to get a sony wega to see the difference, you just need a tv that says it has a flat picture tube. just...
Either way it's still a referral and you are still benefiting someone else, be it yahoo

No, the rebate did not state that it was for EPP customers. At the time of purchase, no one knew it was for EPP customers. The only stipulation was that you had to be an "educational" customer, meaning students like myself, professors, or anyone else in the field of education.

Dell rebates spin confusion on Web
Mix-up offers lesson on how retail errors can magnify on Net
By Bruce Mohl, Globe Staff, 3/7/2003
Dell Computer Corp. is refusing to pay two rebates worth a combined $200 to thousands...
The problem with Dell and this mishap of denied rebates was that at the time of ordering, the Dell representatives told the customers that they were eligible for all of the rebates (I was told this when I ordered mine). But lo and behold, dell decided to deny some customers one rebate that was...

I've never had a problem with the cable internet, but i've only had it for 3 months.
-the download speeds have definitely been great, I've downloaded some things at like 500-700K/sec.
The digital cable tv seems mediocre to me.
I forgot to mention that it was my u0pload bandwidth speed that I tested.
My download speed at the same site is:
Download Size 1204 KB
Download Time 1843 ms
Receive Buffer default size
Transmission Speed 5488 Kbps
I have OOL and I just tested my bandwidth speed at this site:
http://www.pcpitstop.com
My speed was 911 Kb/s which is slightly better than normal cable modem I think.
I live in Hoboken, NJ if that makes any difference.
i have a cordless 1 million cp light that also uses a 6v battery. it takes about a day to charge and lasts about 25 minutes continuously, but if you use intermittently, i feel it outputs much more than just 25 minutes of light... i think it's because of the battery heating up when using it...
SCP - 8100 Closed Picture (High Res)
SCP - 8100 Open (High Res)
Specs from Sanyo.com
Update: it can be purchased at bestbuy.com, radioshack.com, and circuitcity.com for $199.99. In my opinion it is a much better deal than the Sanyo 5300 which sells for $400.
There is also a $100 MIR with the...
There's a restuarant like this in Boston too, except that it's american food (or german what have). Anyways, the point it that they have a plate where there is a big-ass burger (couple of lbs) and plate of fries (also couple of lbs) and if you finish it all you get your picture up on their wall...
I got one of these OD made leather chairs 2 years ago for around $40. It still works great for how much I paid. I just notice some squeaking in the past few months, but it hasn't been very loud or annoying rather. The foam padding does kind of settle in and "pancake", but I can't complain...
according to the review above:
"You cannot copy an existing collection of MP3s to the hard drive through USB nor with a burned CD.
The USB port is used only for "checking out" songs to compatible Sony Network Walkmans. Part of Sony's digital rights management (DRM) efforts, the check out/in...

Dell selling Apple's iPods!
Apparently they are selling them through phone orders... and hopefully internet orders soon!
"Both Dell and Target are selling the iPod at Apple's standard prices. The 5GB model sells for $299, the 10GB version for $399 and the 20GB model for $499...
not to rag on this deal... one penny may be a good deal... but by the time you get it you would only use it for about 2 months...
