Yeah... sorry about my last post. I re-read it and it wasn't very clear. The Comcast guy came out and made adjustments and the stats I posted showed the dramatic improvement in SNR and download signal strength. Everything's been rock solid since last Saturday... no drops... no disconnects...

Wireless Router and Phone Conflict?

You should be fine using 2.4GHz phones... as long as they are DSS-enabled (digital spread spectrum). Note that DSS may be labled something else depending on the manufacturer. Also note that analgo 2.4GHz phones may or may not cause you grief... just the same, some Panasonic 2.4GHz DSS phones...

GMX D-5.1 OR ProMedia v.2-400?

The Klipsch ProMedia v.2-400 speaker system does have a less than stellar crossover which some claim causes a "muddy" mid-range output. I owned the v.2-400s and the 4.1s at the same time and, IMO, the mid-range was simply non-existant on the v.2-400s rather than producing a "muddy" mid-range...
