Question: Memory's Impact on Battery Life

I occasionally play games on it, in which case I have the AC plugged into it, so it won't matter in that case... When running on battery, the machine's usually doing a good share of browsing/Word, etc. Would an upgrade be not worthwhile relative to the diddly-squat improvement in battery?

New LCD (DELL E193FP) is killing my eyes

Thanks for the tips.. I had checked previously for stray screws and found none. I remember leaving the screws slightly loose, so I eliminated that. One question about the PSU remark you made in #5: if that were the case, then the PSU shouldnt be powering on at all right?

Yes, I have. I found nothing relevant on their site and got no relevant feedback from them either... I don't think it's exclusively an HP thing either, seeing as how I've come across IBM Thinkpad owners wrestling with the same issue...

Just got my 9700 Pro!
