The other day I downloaded about 30 gigs. The next day I got an email from my school telling me I was hacked and my internet was off for 2 days before I finally convinced them I wasn't hacked. Since then I've tried to keep it to a few gigs per day max and it hasn't been a problem so far.

For those who are interested in learning more about the gc. Good luck actually trying it since pso and the bba are probably sold out everywhere.
A similar thing happened here at Iowa State. They took down a couple big ftps with a few terabytes total. After that our internet speed went to complete crap because now everyone uses kazaa and other p2p to get their stuff where as before a few people download something once and then it...
Damn its scary how close I was to guessing the exact release of the animatrix online. If only I had gone ahead and said may 1st like I was thinking. Kami you are officially wrong, hehe. ;)
I assume you are referring to getting on top of the map. It really is cheap and you can still be killed if you are playing good people. Basically just take a tank and angle it up against the wall and then have a teammate ramp a ghost off that to jump onto the top of the map. I haven't played for...
Looks like they are a reseller of rackshack.net according to the traceroutes. At least rackshack isn't using cogent bw anymore so it seems like a solid deal.
Are you seriously worried about Korea having nuclear capability? I think korea just wants to be a respected member of the world community and this is their means of obtaining that respect. At some point everyone will have the knowledge necessary to make nuclear devices so there is no way we can...
I agree that we are forcing his hand and that he most probably will attack us with all he has. As for the sudden rush, defeating Sadam once and for all will secure Bush's reelection in 2004 which I assume is very important to him. Personally I think he is already guaranteed for the presidency...
Wholesale oil prices have decreased by approximately 10% over the last few days so you might want to wait a few days before filling up while the price change goes through the market.
Well the obvious idea is that we are going to stop him using force if necessary. It seems that you are implying Sadam will somehow lose his capability to use whatever weapons he does have if only we wait longer. I would like to hear your reasoning behind that if it is truly what you are trying...
It might work if you only use ata33. The signal requirements aren't as stringent. I think the longest ide cables I've ever seen are 40 inches so hopefully that will get the job done. Good luck
For isos that aren't something I need to keep for a long time, I just mount them with daemon tools and install them. Daemon tools takes cd or dvd images and makes virtual drives out of them so you don't have to bother burning it to a cd.

Iraq doesn't have very much oil compared to most mideast nations. It was for that very reason Iraq tried to invade kuwait. If we want more oil we should invade canada. They have way more oil and they would be much easier to take over.
Unreal II lives up to its predecessors and goes far beyond. The graphics are really nice and the storyline is actually interesting. The sniper gun and "grace" (.50 calibur pistol) are a blast to use. Also the secondary fire of the shotgun sets the victim on fire which looks amazing and is pretty...
I don't know why it is laughable. My university has a partnership with a data recovery company so we get cheaper rates that normal businesses or people. I never suggested that the college would try to recover the data itself although I suppose that is a possibility too.
If you are a college student, you might want to check with your university's computer department. They might have a partnership with a data recovery company in order to help students regain lost data cheaply.
They both educate your sims, which improves your mayor rating and makes more people want to live in your city. Start out with a library and then make elementary schools after a little while. Try to centrally locate your high school because it will service a large portion of the map.
When I first read your post I could've sworn you were quoting from the movie Office Space. If by some slim chance you haven't seen it you definitely should.
I just bought a kodak 4900 for $349 at staples and it came with an hp photo printer free after rebate. They said any digital camera over $200 qualified for the deal so you could go with a cheaper camera if you wanted.
In windows 2000 or XP just go into task manager and check out your max ram usage after you've used the computer for a week or so. If its over 512MB then go for 768MB or 1GB. The key is to minimize disk swapping as much as possible.
Hey nice to see a fellow Iowa State student :)
As far as math, it sounds like you only had one bad test. Computer Science is my major and I can tell you right now that its not the best time to be a CS major. Check out this email we just got from our advisor.
The news is bad in River City...
Mallow if you are a college student you probably have a fast enough connection to just download dvdr movies so you don't have to waste time reencoding them. PM me if you want to discuss it more because I won't be back to this thread.
Heh, well in a round about way you do. If you run a game at a resolution other than the native resolution the lcd will automatically scale the image to fit the screen. This makes the image slightly blurry so in a way it is doing "anti-aliasing". It's not really the same thing as what a video...
Well I was gonna say that Dan McCarney will be the highest paid coach in Iowa when he renews his contract with ISU but now that they totally bombed the end of the season, I don't see that happening.
<-- Life-long Iowan
