Alright, well I could always use a good opinion about hardware, and this is (of course) the best place. So anyways, which will run faster - 512 MB RAM @ 133 MHz or 640 MB @ 100 MHz? I have the option of either.. so I'm just curious.
<< Why do you not wish to be connected all the time? >>
I have the same model of the Lynksys 4-port you do, only difference is it's a HUB and not a router (and somehow I ended up paying more, grrrr). Anyways, the ONLY time I ever disconnect my system from being connected is when I'm...
I'm at somewhat of a dilemma and I'm hoping you forum whores could help me out.
My Current System Specs:
Abit VA6 Mobo
Celeron2 600 @ 750
192 MB RAM @ 100MHz
Geforce 256
yada yada yada..
If any of you are familiar with the Celeron2 line, you know that they're not exactly the most potent chip...
McQualude is right. In my experiences, generic ram tends to not be very potent.
You may be running 128 MB RAM, bit it's not really acting as a name brand stick of 128 would.
