Thanks BroeBo, I opened up the case and removed some artic silver. I left a VERY thin layer. I also brought down the vcore to 1.5. My temps are now at 45c. Good improvement. Maybe a new heatsink will let me hit 2.4 without a problem.
I've tried getting it stable at 2.3 by multiplyer and by FSB. I just cant get it stable I uped the v-core to 1.675 but reaching temps of about 62 while testing. My tried playing with my timings, and I dont think its airflow. Right now MBM reads "case 42 cpu 53" (200x11 @ 1.575) and im just...
Ok here goes. I was running a 2500+ barton at 2ghz stable. Now I bought a 2600 moble because of all the overhead its supposed to have for overclocking. For some reason I cant get past 2.2ghz 200*11 @ 1.575 without getting errors in prime. Here's the thing, my temps. Even at this voltage im...
I've noticed that my second hardrive while booted to winxp will often make a click sound and then spin down...why is it shutting down? Then when I go to load something from the drive I have to wait for it to start spinning again. Is there a setting in windows to prevent this? Also Im noticing...

Any of you guys know where I can buy one of those monitor covers that limit the viewing angle of the screen? Would it be expensive for a 19 inch monitor?
Those damn numbering scemes!, Well I've made some visual/audio upgrades to my computer and updated a few parts (case, speakers etc). I haven't been in the computer video scene for a while and decided to upgrade my now shitty Voodoo 3 2000 on my Athlon 1.4 system. So I searched newegg and ordered...

Anyway just wondering...
Im looking into buying a Enermax, CS-3051L-S3A case which comes with a POWERUP 350W P-4 power supply (?!). Will I have any compatability problems with this combo.

I want the update a version of XP to XP professional. The only problem is that the time limit has run out on the XP home copy. No point in registering if im going to install pro in it, I just want to do it without re-formatting again.
