    There are tweaks to help with connection speeds. Is your modem V90? I never connected lower than 48000 with my old Zoltrix, but now have DSL *thanks the God of the internet*.

    Which race is better?

    Prots are too easy to win with. Terran take too long to update. Zerg are the hardest to play, the easiest to be killed in the beginning, but once you get them up and going... they devour everything. If you can win using Zerg, you are a great player.

    Why oh why won't this floppy drive work?

    had that problem when I built this system. Then a fellow net nerd told me to loosen the screws on the floppy where I connected it to the frame of the box... it worked. Apparently some floppies are real sensitive and tweak easily, thus making them not funtion properly. Worth a try.

    you can go into system properties, click advanced tab, then start up and see if you can see the w98 boot in there, if so, enable the dual boot If not, try using partition magic's boot magic... or if that doesn't work, try the repair of w2k.
