Doesn't the machine beep when no ram is in there? I got nothing when I tried that. I get a blank screen. I even switched out the Radeon 9800 and tried a 8 meg PCI card. Still nada.
My Antec 430W power supply went nuts (nice burning smell from it) and took out my Soyo Dragon Ultra KT333 Motherboard in the process. The Antec is still under warrenty so that is taking care of. I have been out of the loop for a while so I am not up to date on products.

Dell forums are hit and miss with people running X800 pros and XT in a Dell 4600. Some work fine, others have issues. :confused:
Trying to find the power supply for the 4600 on Dell's website.
I could also take the DVD rom oout since I really only need the burner. Worst case take the other drive out to help get more power for the card.
I jumped on the deal because of the price and did not even think that I might have a power issue since I already was running a 9800pro, 2 hard drives, 2 DVD drives (one is a burner) with no issues.
The Dell 4600 is AGP based. (New Dell 4700 is PCIe)
My machince has a 9800pro right now but I am worried that the XT card might need more power than my machine has.

Holy crap, after looking at the link to the widescreen gaming forum provided by Driver. The shots for HL2 look great on the 2005FP. Will do alot more reading tonight but I am pretty much sold on the 2005FWP.
