D&M Deal fell through !!!!!!! :( :( :(
http://msnbc-cnet.com.com/2100-1041-994972.html?tag=lh
Sonicblue, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last month, had hoped to sell the business units to Japanese electronics company D&M Holdings for $40 million. But the deadline expired...
Lock this up.
If you dont have a OD in your immediate area, be preapred to pay shipping on ALL orders, REGARDLESS of $ value. The closest to me is 200 miles away. Try to order something light (memory,etc..) that's over $50 and you'll STILL be stuck with a $5.95 shipping fee :(
ooops... I must have read the title too fast. I thought this was a "Free Lawn Chair Calendar".
I was really hoping to see the spread on that lounge chair ;)
> "Unless Amazon decides to stand up and cover it in the name of customer relations."
Amazon????? Cover it????? Customer relations????
BUHHH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA !!!!!!!!!!!!
Does 30 pack Soundblaster card fiasco ring a bell? How about $10 Ipaqs? Ummm, how about Samsung...
SonicBlue BANKRUPT... Has sold ReplayTV and Rio lines to a Japanese "holding" company. Filing for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy!
Looks like those $100 in rebates will go UNPAID !!!! (especially since they're through the lovely Phoenix AZ rebate center than invalidates stuff on a whim)...
If you're unfortunate enough to live in a state where Amazon charges sales tax (Washington and North Dakota), you can get this deal for $10 cheaper net cost at J&R now.
. . . . . . . . . . . . J&R . . . . . . . . Amazon
Cost . . . . . . . . $229.88 . . . . . . $239.94
Rebate . . . . . ...

Just wanted to let everyone know that the STI 200 pack of 74 minute silver CDRs are BACK IN STOCK for online ordering, free shipping at CircuitCity.com.
$49.95 - $45 mail in rebate + MSN bucks = Good way to cash out your MSN bucks.
Yeah, the discs are not going to be the...
Any FAR or RCAR (really cheap after rebate) stuff from Circuit City? A lot of us with MSN bucks would like to turn them into cash, and if it requires a rebate to do it, just as well.
Thanks
I got a 19" Avitron flat square (not True flat--plain original trinitron technology, not wega technology) in September of '99
It always exhibited a "snapping" sound (static discharge internally) every 5 - 10 minutes or so, but no picture problems for the first year and a half I had it. Then in...
If it's the same one I got, this one was recently $7.99 in store. It's kind of a beast. Its power supply is a huge wall-wart brick ac to dc transformer that is wired permanantly into the unit (no jack to remove it even). It works, but it certainly ain't no dremmel!
Actually microwaving a CDR for a few seconds or scraping off a bit of reflective layer STILL may allow someone to read it.. All they have to do is replace the reflective layer (silver spray paint perhaps?) Not saying this is guarenteed but I would cook it longer and/or break it with a hammer...
My local company just upped the "low end" package only rates (citing "increased costs", yet no other package increased)
Was $34.99, now $39.99 for 500kbit (fully throttled, can;t go over) (1mbit is still $44.99, 2mbit is still $59.99) Plus $10 if you're not a cable subscriber, plus $5 for...
KEEP checking, 63 came back in on Monday afternoon/evening, quickly depleated.
BTW - Does anyone have a clearer copy of the rebate form than the crappy JPG turned PDF that they post on all their sister sites (TechDepot/Computers4Sure/et al)?
I went to www.wheresmyrebate.com (TCA-NewRochelle)...
Sorry, we can't relax. Your link is to an article dated September 2002. My link above to the discontinuation of the service is currently on the PASSPORT home page: http://www.passport.com "Notice: Express purchase to be discontinued" (Early 2003) I wonder which is more recent? Hummmm..
And...
What does this mean for all of our MSN Rewards Bucks?????????

> "how much does a Swiffer WetJet usually go for?"
Geeze! Also posted above.. $24.99 at CVS.com, plus I've seen it that price at the local stores too, perhaps on sale for $19.99 if you're lucky.
> "SO?!? Is this FREE or just a $5 off Coupon? "
Read my links above.. This is ONLY a $5 coupon. The linked mfg page has the same phone number as listed here and they do NOT give you an option of what you want, therefore you will ONLY get a $5 coupon.
************************************************************************************
This is NOT a coupon for a FREE Swiffer WetJet.
It *IS* a coupon for $5 OFF a Swiffer WetJet. Realize that they sell for about $25, so this is only a 20% off discount...
> "I just got a $30 rebate from CircuitCity, and the name of the rebate is "$20-$40 Rebate" .. I couldn't find this rebate on the circuitcityrebates.com page. Anyone know what it's for?"
This was the rebate for the Modem, Memory or the "stackable rebaate" for the WD 120 gig hard drive. ($20...
This is a PIECE OF CRAP monitor. I tried it 1 year ago when it was $499 after rebate from ecost.
There is no way the vertical viewing angle is 160 degrees (120 degrees PERHAPS). If I leaned back ever so slightly in the chair, the top of the screen went negative colors and the bottom got too...
CANCELLED!
I ordered early monday morning (about 5-6 hours before they stopped offering "free shipping". Just got the cancellation notice now.
LUCKILY I also did in-store pickup yesterday and snagged a pair (which by the way they had NOT pulled from the floor before I got there, so I could...
Just to let you know, replacement non-manufacturer made ink cartridges may be comming to an end soon.

That isn't the serial #, that's the model # and as stated above, that is a Lite-On. The serial # is the 12 digit code on the side of the box (and should be on the drive itself)
I can see the posts now:
Deal: CD ROM DRIVE FREE AT OFFICE MAX---JUST USE YOUR MSN BUCKS

Really cold considering 2 weeks ago I got the 80 gig SE (8 meg cache) WD from Circuit City for $120 - $40 MIR = $80 cash, PLUS additional $24 MSN buck credit.
So depending on how you want to calculate MSN bucks, that's either $1 per gig plus $24 future MSN spending money, or 70 cents/gig net.
This is all AR, but SonicBlue DOES charge tax, so the ABT deal ($169 AR) or CircuitCity ($199 AR + $60 in MSN bucks = $139) if you want MSN bucks is probably a better deal for most people.
Also, there is no basis for the $5 monthly fee rumor that I can find anywhere, other than a rumor.
ONLINE REBATE FINALLY FIXED!!!! (Yes, you CAN get it for online purchases -- The ad didn't state an exclusion)
http://www.staplesrebates.com/weblogic/rebateshq/staples/viewPromotionDetails?prID=38081&bundleId=253008&promoCd=02-52040
Correct title, rebate period, price, SKU, offer #!
Anyone have a copy of a VALID REBATE for this thing?
RebatesHQ and StaplesRebates don't show any valid rebate for this thing.
There were $30 ones the last week of November, and a $40 one the first week of December, but no current $40 one.
I just (of course) ordered this from staples.com and...

Please edit the line to state:
AC - After Coupon
AR - After Rebate
AMSN - After MSN
Many people have maxed out their MSN already, plus the MSN is NOT a cash rebate, it is a rebate towards future purchases arriving in Feburary.
So AC/AR "cash" cost on this is $79, plus $21.80 ($129 - $20...

Technically it is a rebate, but not a CASH PAYOUT rebate, and you are correct. You receive a deposit in your MSN wallet after Feburary 2003 to spend ONLY at...
NEVER EVER believe or accept a substitute assuming (even if told) that a rebate will be honored. 99% of the time they are lying or badly misinformed and the rebate will be rejected. Only a few times, especially if on a printed sign or fax that you can get a copy of, would I ever accept their...

2) Charge you a hefty "convience fee" for you to leave them with them, even though they do nothing...
