Help with new system plz

Any RAID configuration needs at least two HDs. Since you only have one, you would have to buy another just for RAID 0 (striping). And I'm assuming that your getting a T-Bird. I'd say the price/performance is just as good as for Durons. And why not go for a GeForce2 GTS/Pro since money is not an...

Should I install Norton SystemWorks ? Need Advice.

I installed it without auto startup. But you can also run some of the utils right from the disk. S0me1X is right about the defrag though, but I think SpeedDisk arranges files according to the frequency of use.

Danny, keep 'em coming! Static, I'm positive the kid gets the beats from his mother. She came over and said if he causes trouble to go tell her and she'll "punish" him. I kinda feel sorry for the kid. He got a sh*itty deal in life. Single mother makes it hard too.

I saw "The Exorcist" last night...

What in W2K makes it not run some games?

Using DirectX 8.1. The demos that work: Giants: CitKab, Fate of the Dragon, Fallout Tactics. That don't: Blade of Darkness, NBA Live 2001, Summoner (worked for a while). Haven't tried Gore or Triple Play 2002 yet. Hamburgerpimp, what about NTkernel, DOS, etc. are causing problems?

I am about to return that drive, so I got one short question about Low Level formating.

And LLFs have rendered HDs useless, so it is not perfectly safe.

Tracks and sectors are marked on your HD when a LLF is done at the factory. These are meant to stay that way for the life of the drive. If you LLF it like you did, you should not have to do it again. Now you should just OS format it whenever necessary. And most manufacturers have a LLF program...
