    I'm using my GF4 4200 through DVI on my Dell 2000FP at 1600x1200 no problems. Don't remember which brand the card is though.

    It doesn't say which Hauppauge card, and Beyond TV supports non-hardware encoding cards, so it's probably the $20 Hauppauge card, making this a warm deal at best.

    Yes, but the 6800 is 12 pipes, 256bit and the 6600GT is 8 pipes, 128bit. 370*12 = 4440 500*8 = 4000 700 * 256 = 179200 1000 * 128 = 128000 So, the 6800 is usually faster core (can't always use all pipes) and always faster memory bandwidth.

    If anyone cares, both drives inside the box were: DiamondMax Plus 9 60GB ATA/133 HDD 6Y060L0 Which are FDB Motors, very quiet and cool. Great deal for RAID at $30 + tax each out the door.

    I got 2 at the San Jose, Blossom Hill store. That had 27 more when I left about 1 hour ago. You have to ask though, they only have them in the back. And, the the online stock checker was wrong as it says out of stock, so call your local store or stop by, don't believe the online stock system.

    For the A8V 1:1 means DDR200, so you want to set it 2:1 to run at normal DDR400 (or DDR480 with your overlclock).

    Dual Channel Memory Problems with Asus A8V

    Well, I got it working. Somehow, my memory errors with 1 DIMM went away, and I was able to run MemTest86 without errors. Then, I flashed the BIOS to 107 and Dual started working. Ran MemTest over night without any errors on Dual. Strange that a Bios update fixed the problem.

    Just canceled it. They are crazy, if you cancel your order after 30min from placing it, they may charge a 15% restocking fee (for an order that hasn't even shipped. I thought people liked Monarch, but that's just crazy. I'll wait for NewEgg to get the 90nm up and then order from them.

    Fry's 1G Mushkin dual channel PC3200 $129.99 after 20MIR

    I called Mushkin with the part number from the kit I bought today at Fry's (which is 3884167) They said that it is 2.5Volt CAS 2.5-3-3-8 And verified that it is lifetime warranty. Not bad for $130 AR. I'm going to keep the pack I bought.

    It's only locked at 1600x1200 in the same way that any LCD is "locked" at it's native resolution. The 1800FP is "locked" at 1280x1024 as is the 1900, etc. I have a 2000FP and LOVE it. Great monitor. Your video card should scale whatever resolution up to 1600x1200 (and present other options).
