Core Voltage

My new 7DXR+ motherboard has small oddity regarding the core voltage. The BIOS PC Health Monitor and MBM always show the core voltage 0.05v higher than what I set in the BIOS. In other words, if I set the voltage at 1.6v it will show 1.65v and if I set 1.65v it will show 1.7v, etc... I've never...

Is my new board toast???

Just got my hands on a giga-byte 7DXR+ this afternoon. Hooked everything up, turned on the power and get absolutely nothing. No Beep, no video, no nothing. All that happens is the fans spin. The monitor doesn't even come out of sleep mode. I unhooked the hard drive, the video card, the floppy...

Got my Lian-Li PC-68 for $160.72 total....

Never used AMEX, only mastercard and discover, but it would definitely be cool if they would pricematch with Canadian stores. I'd give AMEX a call and see what they say........ Anybody put dual 92mm fans up front?

Well there are the Canadian stores such as www.ncix.com. In the US, www.big008.com will be $172 shipped, but their shipping is better than Directron (Express rather than UPS ground).

Higher demand leads to higher prices only if the market supply is upward sloping. I would imagine that there are significant economies to scale in the production of cases. Hence the long-run supply curve is probably downward sloping. A larger market will allow for mass production and lower...

Well, the question is how much to bring over a load of 1,000 cases? I imagine you'd get a quantity discount from lian-li as well....... What explains the premium we pay over here in the US? Newegg for instance is $173 on the PC-60. Can't possibly cost that much to bring the cases over........

Any problems with Directron and Lian-Li Cases?

Well, big008 is $155 but their shipping is $25 with 2-4 days. Directron is $156 and shipping is $14. UPS says its 3 days from directron to me so roughly the same..... One thing that has always bothered me about big008 is the cases they put up for auction over at ebay. They ask more for them on...

How did ncix package your cases? In the original lian-li boxes? They aren't selling fakes are they? I've noticed that canadian resellers are about $15-$20 cheaper on the lian-li cases.........maybe less demand up there.....

In need of a good stable motherboard, Abit?, Iwill?, Asus? Need help

If you aren't going to overclock and you aren't going to play games then there are tons of boards that you could go with. Any of the boards in the anandtech KT133A review would be fine. Gigabyte boards are generally pretty easy to use and configure. ECS does a lot of OEM business so their boards...

If you only have one hard drive then why are trying to stripe it on one of the raid ports? Don't you have to have two drives to stripe, one on each of the yellow raid ports? If all you got is one hard drive then turn off that raid via jumper and just put the drive on a regular blue ide port. Put...

My Iwill KK266-R shows my IDE Drives as SCSI Devices

No, I've disabled the raid controller with the jumper and both drives are masters on the regular (blue) ide ports.

I go into the device manager and it indicates that my IBM 60GXP and my Toshiba DVD/CD-ROM are SCSI Devices. Everything works really good though. I'm running W2K, it has the march 5 bios, and the via 4 in 1 pack that came with the power installer CD. Any ideas?
