    It should be fine for more than basic browsing. My current HTPC has a A6-6400k and it does quite a bit of gaming in addition to the browsing and media use. It's not great, but it handles older and indie games just fine, and it's good enough for my son to play ARK (at rather poor framerates.)...

    I was using a 9600gt when I started playing The Secret World in January. I think I ran at 1280x960 (or something like that) at max ugly and kept at 30-50 FPS. Playable, to be sure. I did decide I wanted things to look a bit better and upgraded in February to one of those popular 7850s.

    Mostly standard quite awhile ago. Onboard Video has become basically standard for just about any mATX budget board as well. I ordered an Asus P5KPL-CM for her. Comments suggest it's quite well built with nice heat sinks and caps. I wanted to avoid the real budget manufacturers.
