Volcano II & overclocking

I have been using Volcano II (2) w/ ASUS a7a266 and MSI K7 Turbo: 1) Running Tbirb 1Ghz, 1.2 GHz, 1.3 GHz , It's hotter than nornal (40+) but it still performed OK. However when 1.4 GHz was used overheating occurred (mother board had high pitched sound and one red light lid). 2) I have not tried...

Asus A7A266 Question

I would rather go w/ ASUS A7M266 or MSI K7 Master than ASUS A7A266. I'm having 2 of them in my system and they are not as stable as the other 2 - MSI K7 Turbo. If you decide to go w/ it and using Radeon graphic card remember to download both updated Ali intergrated driver as well as Radeon 4.13...

Does your computer have to work in order to flash your bios?

1) Some DOS BIOS flash programs such as MSI KT7 pro2A/K7 Turbo would create a boot disk w/autoexec.bat file which will start the flashing automatically but you still need your video card works in order to go into BIOS set up screen to set BIOS to default to get the just (new) flashed program...

ASUS a7a266 Locked up ???

Thanks Andy, I have tried various memory configuration such as: 1) 1x256 PC2100 DDR 2) 1x256 SDRAM PC133 3) 1x128 SDRAM PC150 Memory setting as default (managed by SDR) + Change setting to CAS2 ...(manually set w/ input from Crucial) The problem still persists, however after it hung a RESET...
