It is an i5-750...I knew I forgot some critical information. Thanks for the reply. I will give all the connections a good double-check and see if I luck out. They're all new to me, so I may not have seated some of them properly. Thanks again.

Now I remember why I stopped building PCs 5 or 6 years ago.. I need some help with a Gigabyte P55M-UD2 (Rev. 1.0) build. I am using 4GB OCZ PC 12800 dual channel DDR3 and an EVGA GeForce GTX 260. When I power up, fans start and MB lghts come on for about a second or two and then everything shuts...

Dell 2407WFP vs. BenQ FP241W

I agree on the 2407. I am waiting for a sale to pick up a couple myself. I have a pair of Dell 1905s and the build quality and industrial design can't be beat (IMHO).

Thanks for the great ideas. UnfortunateIy, I solved the issue in a more round about fashion. I was running out of time and decided to see if I could reinstall the OS without formatting the hard drive. As it turns out, I was able to boot from my Win98 cdrom and choose setup. The OS reinstalled...

Socet A SDRAM Motherboard

I have an MSI K7T Turbo-R and an Epox 8KTA3 both running with 800 MHZ Durons and 133MHZ SDRAM. They are both nice boards that are OK for overclocking and very stable...I think either one can be had for about $80 now...:)
