Video weirdness

Should I clean out the contents of C:\WINNT\TEMP? The only goobers I see in task manager is a couple or three instances of cli.exe. I'm working on getting that cleared up.

I run a Win2000 box. Lately, when I run an (any) application, and then close it, it stays on the screen as if I never closed it. When I hit the "Show Desktop" icon in the tray, I get the desktop but all the desktop icons have the remnants of the last screen. Has anyone seen this behavior...

Thanks for the heads-up. I checked Toshiba's website and they show the HD to be a 5400 rpm drive. Model A135-S4727 I'll get by there tomorrow and let the wife handle it. I like the advice to get the hands on one.

Satellite Radio reciever choices

I'm planning for a plug-n-play satellite radio reciever and think the Skyfi2 or XpressR will suit me fine with the features they offer and what I need or want. Am I obsessing over it or is this kind of a slam dunk and any recieiver is adequate? Thanks.

Disregard this forum

"pile of junk" is a little extreme in my mind for a nice setup like you describe. Put more ram in it and give it another video card would be good upgrades for you. And that will run dual channel so give it a bunch in a pair.
