I am using a 1.3TB on a Epox 8K7A+. When I pressed the on/off button, I can heard that the fans are moving. However, the motherboard is still FF and the screen is still black. Then I switch off my power supply and then repeat the above process a few times. Although the computer is switched on...

What tools do I need?

If I want to cut a window in my Lian-Li PC-60, what tools do I need? I don't have any tool so I am going to buy some. Please also tell me where on the net that I can buy that.

Worst experience installing a heatsink/fan....

I cracked my Athlon 1.3G, it can still go to 1.5G. Luckily the shop replaced one for me and it can go to 1.6G

Mp3 player or MD player

Well, I am thinking of buying a mp3 player or a recordable MD player. I will listen to mp3 at most time. For MD player, I will plug it in the sound card and record the MD. But I don't want to keep that much MD disks. For mp3 player, the sound quality is not that good. I mean if I sometimes buy...

45-46C good temps for 1.4GHz athlon using MC462-A?

TonyB, your temp is quite ok as your motherboard is also quite hot. I think the reason is that your place is a little bit too hot.

Water cooling or HSF

Water spilling will be one of the problems. If you are a newbie, go with the HSF, the few Mhz more won't worth that kind of trouble

Is this useful?

I have a GeForce 2 Pro. I want to ask if I get a blue orb and some heatsinks for the ram on top of the GeForce, will I overclock more? I now overclock it to 460mhz with the default core speed.

New build tommorrow. Help

Try to do a research on what stepping to get if you are going to overclock. I think for 1.3G, AYHJA "Y" is the best. Just what I think though

Is an Aluminum case worth it?

Also the aluminium cases are very nice. It that really worth it, that depends on yourself. I think both of them have no big difference except the looking. If you really like the lian-li cases, go and get one. They are nice.

AMD or INTEL?

AMD=cheaper, need better HSF Intel=Expensive, cooler But I would choose AMD as you can buy a few AMD compare with the Intel
