Thanks to the OP! I managed to score one for $75!! I bought some blanks to push it over $150 so I could use the $30 off $150 coupon, turns out that I picked up the wrong media. When I returned the blamks the clerk didn't want to hassle with the coupon adjustment so he just refunded the full...
Agreed... If you read through the begining of these messages I recommended the T40. My original reply was to another user who was comparing a older 4000 series Dell against the new IBM T40, not quite a fair comparison! The Centrino Dell's are VERY nice, espically when you take price into...
The only difference between the D600 and 600M is the case (and keyboard pointing stick) otherwise they are the same exact machine. The 600M (TOL)can be had for under $1700 with Dell coupons/rebates factored in. Yes the IBM has a better case and battery life but is it worth that much more $$$$...
Considering the T40 sells for almost double ($3200) what a similar Dell Centrino goes for I would expect it to have superior construction! The Thinkpads are nice but way overpriced for what you get....

600M is still the best choice IMHO... You can add a second battery to the hot swapable bay giving you 7 hours of run time if needed. If you are concerned about case quality then go for the Dell D600 which is essentially a 600M with a better case design.

Here's a few numbers of Dell support people that are higher up on the customer support team that you may want to check with on this rebate situation. So far all the low level CS people don't seem to have a clue as to what they are doing...

Look for horizontal lines that slope off in one corner and/or lines that don't appear straight. It's most noticeable when you watch a letterbox movie or use DVD Essentials to show a test grid pattern on your screen. The Samsung does have a tilt control and a few other geometry correction...
I bought one of these at Fry's about 4 months ago when they were $279, don't get me wrong it is a great TV feature/picture wise but quality control still seems to be lacking at Samsung. The first one had geometry problems out of the box so I returned it for another one that also has geometry...
If you have a Fry's local to you then you can pick up a Mushking PC2700 256MB for $90, the one I got turned out to be Samsung chips on a Samsung PCB (Samsung is etched on the PCB). Fry's / Outpost #3207391. Not the cheapest but you can actually look at the stick before you buy it and you don't...
I sent my phone 15 messages and never had a minute deducted, on the other hand I sent 3 messages FROM my phone and was charged for the minutes. If free2go is prepaid how do they charge you .10 for each message sent?
$10 cards
I've never bought from them but others over at FW have and seem to be happy with the service. The first time you make a purchase they aparently have to mail you the card with pin number but on future purchases they can email you the pin number. They accept paypal also if you don't...
Don't bother emailing support at 2checkout for your transaction number, I just received a response to my request and they told me Cyberwings has a list of all the transaction ID numbers available and that they would need to find my information. So much for Shawn telling everyone to email...
Sav-On drugs also has it this week for $99. Here's a good one, the box says that this is a digital TV! We've actually had customers thinking they were getting a HDTV for $99! I believe the manufacture means that it has a digital chassis...
btw this deal is good at all of the Socal Sav-Ons...
FreemoreJohnson: Any AT&T phone will work. You just need to call and cancel your account with AT&T be it monhly or prepaid, this frees up your serial number in the system so ecallplus can activate it.
GnatGoSplat: I activated my second phone from them less then a week ago and was not charged any activation fee and I didn't need to buy any "kit" either, it sounds like you got a lousy cs rep! I did buy the $20 starter card from them though... Plus both of my phones were activated within one...
I have two phones with them and so far I'm very happy. The rates are no where near as good as a monthly plan but if you only need it for emergency use you can't beat it at 3.33 per month with voice mail and two way text messaging. Hell it's cheaper then a beeper for me!
Right now they are...
Try the woodland hills Fry's, it was still marked down to $349 as of a week ago. They've had it marked down for well over a month now since the new 2792F is due out.
Noticed that my local Costco is now selling the Novaform memory foam mattress pad for $149. I only saw the King size at that price and didn't have much time to take a closer look far as thickness goes, the box did seem kinda small for a king size pad. No info on the Costco web site yet...
I had my Ebay account hacked last week, strange part was my password was 10 digits and characters long and was not used anywhere else. I found out right away when I got the change email and pass notices in my email. Thankfully Ebay was able to shut him down the next morining.
The guy placed a...
