You are right, if the CPU is rated at 133 FSB then it should run at 133. If the system won't count ram them something else is wrong. Check the mobo manual to see if you can get the bios to auto detect the correct FSB for your Athlon. If the memory doesn't even count at 133 but is OK at 100...

MicroATX MoBo power question

Your PSU should be fine for either a S370 or A SoA board. I've used the MSI6340M which has sound and graphics on-board without problems for a Duron 800 system. Also have a look at Gigabyte 60MM7 for a S370 board. Tis one is based on Itel's 815 chipset and also has sound and graphics built-in...

Let me ask a dumb question, what is the FSB rating of your CPU? is it a 100 or a 133. If its 100 and you set the jumper to 133, then you are trying to overclock and the CPU may not be able to handle it. If the FSB is 133, then it sounds as if it may be a memory problem, make sure you set the...

Question about PS for a microATX Mobo (MS-6340M)

I had this very setup MSI 6340M mobo with an enlight 145W PSU. With a Duron 800, I had quite a few random reboots. Needed an bigger PSU to cure the problem (250W seems to have done the trick) Other components: GeForce 2MX IBM HD LG DVD-Rom 256 MB PC133 Ram

CDRW and DVD on the same Bus

I agree with most others, no problems with a Hitachi DVD and a Teac CD-RW on the same IDE.

Check your mobo's manual or the makers website, there is almost certainly a jumper which switches the FSB range.

MicroATX seems to be gaining popularity... NEED CASE CHOICES!!!

Have a look at either InWill or enlight mATX cases, I've used them in the past. The PSUs are a bit feeble for an AMD but should be OK for an Intel CPU.
