This weekend, I installed win2k and Sp2. I installed the AMD AGP miniport driver only (5.22). No VIA drivers at all. Everything works great, UDMA, USB the lot. I have not yet benchmarked the HD though.

But here's the thing. Can one create a DOS boot floppy in w2k? Should I make a bunch and save them before I get rid of my win9x machine.
How do you get a DOS boot floppy if your only OS is WIN2K. Am I missing something?

If I am using WIN2K how do I update my BIOS using a DOS flash utility.
I ask because I WILL have:
8k7A and Win 2k as the only installed OS.
My idea's are: boot from a DOS floppy and run from there,

Can anyone tell me if the Suspend to RAM feature works on the 8K7A? If it does, with which BIOS? I know that ACPI can be flaky sometimes but this is one feature that is appealing to me.
Please post your comments on the Suspend to RAM feature on the 8K7A.

Well I don't have the motherboard yet either...but I should imagine it has to do with ACPI. Some kind of suspend function that leaves data in ram with minimum power so that it can restart quickly. It can probably be enabled in the control panel under power, which adds an option to...
