Does anybody have a copy of the blank rebate form for the 32"?
If so can you send to trojan97@aol.com.
I'm getting some run around from the rebate processing group.
Boy you guys all seem to be experts... Do you believe everything you see in mass media, the onion and the national enquirer?
If so, based on the last several movie releases beware of things that go bump in the night. Horrible crimes are on the rise.
If you really think McDonald's is...
Very scientific experiment:
Lets see, what would happen if I purposely limited physical activity, actively attempted to consume way more calories that are recommended and eat as much as possible, just to eat, even beyond being full?
Just a guess but pack on the pounds would be the result...
Found it when working on your answer to my other question.
Is there an option to enable the tv to display on both of them? I have a kvs and would like to leave the tv running on the 2nd monitor and switch the main monitor to my other machines.
I go into control panel, then diplay and then advanded and only get the standard 4 tabs of win XP. In other screen shots and previously XP loads with older aTI cards I fould I had additional tabs that were installed by ATI software of some sort.
Ok so I think I got everything installed correctly except that when I click the advanced option of the diplay properties I don't get any additional tabs. Should I see like 10 tabs some with ATI logos on them?
Did I miss something in my install?
I have been running the tv in a non-maximized mode (say 700x700 on a 1280x1024 screen). Everytime I press a button the remote the screen maximizes to full screen.
Is there a way to turn this off so it keeps the window size and I can use the remote at the same time.
i bought and received this unit about 2 weeks back....
CPU is the fastest on the market as far as I can find. The next closest seems to be 400 MHz on an HP device that costs $80-100 more.
Battery life seems to be ok. Likely depends on how much you need the wifi to be running while using...
I'm reinstalling my XP load and want to just download the latest drivers and multimedia center, etc from ATI for my Radoen AIW 9600.
What should I be downloading and installing and in what order?
Send the original upc in for the $30 rebate regardless of what they claim or tell you. Simple logic says it is better to lose $10 than $30, thus only risk rejection on the $10 rebate.
The cards are 10/100 and generally work with Norton Ghost, which I thought was a big plus, thus I started only...
Appears that they are only advertising area wide in the Sun Times and the non-Du Page area tribunes? Du Page and local Kane County Tribunes didn't get the ads, but the rest did and all the sun times did.
Any ideas?
The DSL reports thread showed an ad from the sun times. The Grand Opening is Friday, but didn't say much else except the three big drawing prizes (Car, Trip and something else). No specific deals listed in the ad.
Hopefully something will be in the Thursday paper...
If memory serves correctly, Fry's ads are generally full page ads in one of the sections of the local paper. They are not inserts, but more like page 7 of the sports section in the trib kind of thing.
They are now officially open. I would just go by the standard store hours. The have put up entrance and highway signs that say now open and the front doors do not have any indication other than standard hours.
Just got back! In case you were there I was the guy with the big dumb goofy grin on his face when he walked in the door...
I've been to two or three in So Cal, but it always amazes me how big they are and how much product they carry.

Just wondering if anyone has used this board and what they think?
I was looking to upgrade my system and figured this would be a cheap interum... I would pickup a P4 3GHZ with 800 MHZ FSB and just run it at the 533 until I upgraded the board, etc.
The good news regarding installs and SBC is that the new software doesn't install all the garbage like the old software does.
The new disk actually asks something like are you going to setup a router or do you want to install connection manager software (select no if you are going to us a router).
I'm looking for a more reliable client software for managing wireless connections in windows (other than the built in windows XP software)
Any recommendations? It needs to support multiple manufactures cards.
I know the wep key is correct because the second, pcmcia card works fine using that key (I don't reenter it or anything like that, it is stored).
I will try the uninstall/reinstall.
Let me try this again....
He bought the latop. Bought the circuit board. Installed the board (very similar to plugging in a stick of memory). Configured and connected at McDonald's (wifi in chicagoland).

Ok, my father bought one of those newer Toshiba?s that has a built-in 802.11b antenna, provided that you purchase the $70+ 802.11b circuit board to run the antenna.
So be bought the board and tried to connect to the wireless network I setup for him. Windows sees the network and says he is...

My wife grew up on apples so when it was time we bought her a new one (this Thanks Giving). Since it was my first apple I checked it out etc.

I've had both, and a 13.3"... Depends on what you want to do with it. If you are worried about weight or price, go with the smaller one. Otherwise go with the 14.1", better resale value, etc.
Check that your laptop is getting an IP address from the wireless router.
Check that your wireless router is not trying to use the same IP address as the wired router.
Check that you have dns resulution service (put in the ip address of someone like www.cisco.com and see if the page appears).
Are they all setup to be on the same workgroup?
Is there a firewall on that machine (windows internet firewall).
Has to be the way you have it configured in the OS, not the card or the router (as they don't control those things).
