Search Question

Hello! When you use the forum search engine, does it search for member names that have posted replies? Just can't seem to find a thread that someone had a question for me.... If I enter "maxband" will it find any threads to which I have posted? Thanks. :confused:

Strange Problem w/ New Monitor

Deleted Post?

Hello all! Thought I had put a post up in the Tech Forum about Scrambled/Garbled icons... Maybe it didn't go through... or maybe it was deleted by the Mod? The tip involved deleting the Windows 98 SE 'ShellIconCache' folder. Worked fine for me...all my icons are back to normal... and the file...

Need help!! System locks up and reboots automatically

I had the same problem with freezing - no rebooting though- on my KT7A/Duron 850 combo. I found I had to up my IVo to 3.5 volts....as well, some of my higher preformance memory settings, (4-way interleave etc.) were causing problems. Had to scale back to more conservative settings...Looking at...

Micron Memory....maybe not....

To clarify..... I am running my Duron at 100 MHz FSB. The Pci value is 1/3 or 33 MHz. Memory is running at 133 MHz. (100Mhz clk + 33 Mhz PCI clk). Haven't tried to overclock yet...trying to get my system stable first! Odd thing...tried running my memory at 100MHz....won't run without...

No sound, please help!

Does Windows detect your sound card if you remove it, boot, shut down. Re-install sound card and re-boot?
