probs gettin my xp1700 to 200fsb

i/m runnin the baby @ 2250 (166x13.5) @ 1.65 vcore. ram is @ 2.50 (6,3,3 - 2.0) 200mhz runnin it on spd @ the mo. been o/cin for a few years now so no prob there lol. i used to run my xp2400 @ 2600mhz ~ 2.175vcore on my good old rda+ i can get the fsb upto 195 then go to 200 but no boot just...

the best ram sets for 1gb pc3200

Enermax Power Supply Decibel Level

my enermax 550w psu kicks ass!!! the fans increase rpm as the psu is put under stress and decrease when they arn't. thats what u get for 125 notes.

Is this water cooler any good?

man that looks like a piece a sh1t!! watercooling is good! i'm runnin my xp2400 @2500mhz vcore 2.05 @32degs. i'm usin a dangerden3 kit. oh yeah with a 270ghp water pump (eheim 1250).

i've just finished moddin my northbridge with a hsf taken from a old epox kta3+. fits a treat exactly the same as the standard hs on the board. put some hs on the old ti4200 mem also.

trouble with nforce2 ethernet

i'm havin trouble connectin my cable modem via a cat5 cable to my ethernet port on my nforce2. at the mo i'm havin to use my usb connection instead. the connection is detected but i can't get to work. everything is set to auto assign. os is win xp, epox 8rda+ mobo any suggs???

Water cooling recommendations

i'm on my second full kit now. i started with an innovatech kit (high capacity) ~ £160 - wasn't bad. now i'm runnin a dangerden m3, eheim 1250 (264imp gals PH), bi 2 extreme rad, 2x120mm ystech fans on the rad (125cfm each!!!). got my xp2400 runnin @ 2300 @ 26~28 degs. (1.75vcore)

i think u guys might be right about waiting for the next new stuff on the block. My xp1900 has been runnin @ 1890 (157x12 - 2.2vcore @ 36degs) so i guess the increase in speed will be minimal. the mobo on the other hand could do with being upgraded as i can't run it stable on 166mhz. it keeps...

@ the mo ive got an xp1900, epox 8k3a mobo, 512 mbs corsair xms 2700 looking to upgrade to a xp2400, epox 8rda+, 512 corsair 3500. all for £379 any diff suggs on mobo? i use water cooling (uses the 4 screws) so that rulez out the abit mobo :-(

Dangerous? Replacing powersupply fan...

should be okay but leave it turned off for 5 mins or so. A psu will kill ya if u mess with it, well during start up anyway.

on my rad i'm usin 2 ystech 120mm fans 135cfm each. these are set so the air is transfered out of the case. also got another 3 papst 120mm fans 4 general cooling especially my gf3!!!!!!

on my rig i use 1/4 water wetter and the rest distilled water. my temps on a xp1900 @ 1800mhz = 35°C (1.95 vcore) i use an innovatek set2 cooling kit. 150 x 12

AMD Athlon 166mHz Bus?

i was runnin my old t'bird 1.4 @ 166x10. (166/166) = 333mhzfsb i have an epox 8k3a mb. when the fsb is up at 166 the agp/pci speeds revert back to 66/33 so there is no problems here. i found that win xp didn't like it much so i reverted back to 98se overall there is a performance gain the mem...

wow how the hell did u manage that. u shouldn't need to have it that tight. when i install my 8045 i use my fingers to hold the nut so that it is impossible to strip the threads.

Cooling an AMD 2100XP (quietly ?) ----- (quieter than a delta 7000rpm)

why don't u try buying a fan adapter. this means therefore allows u to use a bigger fan without having to get a new hsf. u won't lose much in CFM either. i personally opted for the watercooling path. i'm testin my kit now. i'm runnin my old tbird 1.4 @ 166x10 ~ 39C - alpha 8045

the memory can be running @ 166 but the sys bus will be running @ 133. it will be displayed as 133 but it's actually not. i had that problem when u used my xp1900 on my ep8kha the mem would only register as 133. i stopped usin my xp 1900 in preference to a 1.4 tbird. purely cos i can run it @...
