Primary workflow is speeding up Lightroom processing. Responsiveness isn't great when switching photo to photo and on screen full detail rendering times on a 4k screen. Also a bit of gaming in Civ 6 and GoW and BF1.

Hi there, Im currently considering these two, VG248QE and the XL2420Z.
I read the reviews for both, I know the Asus is currently recommended so I was wondering if thats the one to get over the BenQ right now. Any other suggestions for a 24 inch gaming screen?
It will be driven by a...
Just curious but what sort of performance difference would i see between the two with the 6970m in the imac 2011 with 1gb ram vs a desktop gtx470. Both systems are i7 3.4ghz and have the same 16gb ram.
Newegg didn't have it yet at the time or were out of stock the day I was ordering. I've spent well over 10k at Newegg over the years from system builds since they were a startup.

OWC wants me to pay an extra $30 to replace memory that is defective 8 months later.

Late in 2008, I purchased 4GB of SODIMM DDR3 RAM for my new Unibody Macbook Pro from OWC. The total was $140 + shipping.
The RAM seemed to work fine in the high...
Awesome, thanks for the info, looks like I'll probably be ordering one. Anyone try OSX on it?
So is that 3 3.5" bays and 2 5.25" bays?
Going by newegg prices, CPU alone is already $185.
It comes with a 250gb drive, 2gb RAM, motherboard, fans, PSU, and a good case so this is definitely a...
If I order this with a Q6600, is still a better deal than assembling one myself?
How quiet/loud is this thing and does it put out a lot of heat? How many and what size drive bays?
I have a spare beefy ATX PSU and an old X1950 XTX that I hope to use on it.
Well I got the email in ebay, "You've earned cashback", that I qualified and I should click on the link... but it's been about 36 hours but still no "Pending" in my LIve.com queue.
I lost my DVD player remote and my receiver remote. Would something like this need me to have the original remote so it can learn the functions? The receiver is a 5 year old Sony and the DVD player is a 1 year old JVC.
How much better is this worth the premium when you can get a 32" Syntax Olevia with better paper specs from Compusa at 550 with free shipping?
I know the XBR is supposed to be the best in the business, better than Aquos...
This seems remarkably similar to:

except for the contrast ratio...
but same tuner and inputs...
Does the VF900 help the price at all, if not, I'll just put the stock sink bank on and put it on the X1950 coming in unless the VF900 is not as good as the stock sink on that.
Just bought a X1950XT 512 from another AT member.
I need to figure out how much I should price my X1800XT 256mb card with a VF900 attached to it.
NOrmally, I'd check pricegrabber or something and then reduce some amount from that but I can't find this particular video card anywhere right...
Does it have the same fitment as the OEM battery as in flush to the case? I need to know because I'm picking up a Boxwave ActionGrip and that won't work with a bettery that juts out.
I convinced him I should get a mac since I can do Intel now (yay, I do UI graphics and engineering).
We get something like a 30-40% discount at Dell so he might be getting that.
The computer and I will be travelling everyday from the office to my car and will be flying possibly once a...
Ah ok, so is X1800XT 512mb Better than a X1900GT? I thought the 1900GT had a plethora of pixel units so in the future it should leap frog the X1800XT right?
Want to spend about $250 or a bit more. Will be used with an Athlon 64 X2 4600+ and 2gigs of ram.
The motherboard has not been picked yet either though. I realize the 7900GT is a popular choice but it seems to be a big hit or miss with those cards...
Something to keep in mind, a puny 300...
