outlook express backup

I recently backed up my outlook express .dbx folders in windows\app data\identities\(long name)\ microsoft\outlook express to a cd. I then reformatted and reinstalled windows, put the dbx folders back into this folder, but they do not appear with my inbox, outbox, etc. Did I lose all my emails...

Yeah, I tried that. It works for the address bar, but doesn't for search engines etc.

ccna + what?

Been thinking that way myself, but at 31 I'm already starting to feel old considering entering an industry full of young people. A degree would make me 35 with no experience.

Unable to format or save to floppy in XP.

Can you read from floppies with data? Floppy drives are notorious for breaking; good thing they're so cheap

ccna + what?

I'm currently in a CCNA program, and since everyone and their grandma are CCNA I'll be going for CCNP after. Since alot of you guys here are probably network admins., what else should I take. I go to an excellent community college that offer intensive(so they say) classes on Novell, Unix/Linux...

Perhaps I should ask this in os, but I'll try here first I'm the owner and primary user of my computer, but sometimes other people use it for the internet. I recently did a windows update and got IE 5.5 Since then everywhere on the internet I type something I get a list of everything I've typed...

maybe someone here could help me. when I am logged onto the internet (dial up) and click on a link it will start to go to the page and then do nothing, not go slow, but do absolutly nothing. And then after 30 seconds or so it cruises at normal speed, and then a couple minutes later it does it...
