Low CS fps! Help!

I'll try the 23.11, d/l it right now slowly. I still think it's the bots that cause this, it demand too much cpu power, that and I only have 128 MB of RAM. I can still play with OK framerate with 12 bots, but things get chuggy past that. Thx ppl, I'm bored playing with bots anyway, and started...

Low CS fps! Help!

Yes, I got that all covered. I use opengl, turn vsync off, typed fps_max 100. I think Boran's probably right, the bots are using too much cpu power. Anyone know a good bots that light on cpu? Thx

That's the problem, I don't connect to any server, I just choose lan games, and create game, and then add 12-16 bots (I'm using realbot). So it couldn't be my connection since I don't connect at all :)

Thx for quick reply Bart, I don't think it's driver problem, I'm using 23.10 now, and CS fps still low. And I've tried almost all drivers (10.80, 12.41, 22.40, etc). Other games runs perfect, I got 3600ish 3d Mark 2k1 score, not that bad.... Maybe it's memory problem? RAM is on my upgrade list...

Thx for the fast reply, Maybe it's just powercolor bad components, I heard it has 6ns memory. Anyway, I got it cheap and it has TV out, so I'm pretty satisfied. I'm just worry that it wont live that long since it keeps changing clockspeed everytime I boot up. Can it be my AGP slot on my mobo or...

Help! Overclocked GTS as default !?

225/395 With stock cooling? That's very impressive! Maybe it's because I live in a tropical country, or maybe powercolor used cheaper components. What really bugs me is that why is it 200/365 by default? I never overclock anyway, so can I make it 200/333 by default? Is there someway to do this?

Thanks, looks like I'm gonna keep my p4. About benchmarks, I get 3400ish score on 3dmark 2001, is this good or something wrong with my PC? And that's using 12.41 driver, if I use supplied driver, I only get like 2700ish. But I rather use the supplied driver since it looks more stable.

Thanks for the reply guys, There's a CPU Fan after all, stupid me :) Maybe I was expecting too much from my new system afterall. So, ehem, what exactly IS the improvement can I expect with this 1,3 ghz system anyway? And would I be better off if I trade it for AMD system? Thanks again.
