Ok, I wasn't sure. Previously I had bought a T-Bred A 2100+ and then I got the T-bred B and it was high-end, but it's nice to hear what you said which makes me feel better about buying these chips now. Thanks.
It would be nice if someone can confirm if this is the T-bred B high-end or low-end. If the next line starts with an A it's the high-end. If it starts with a J it's the low-end. I know that the ones at newegg have been high-end recently. I got one but haven't had the chance to try it out yet...
This sounds like a sweet deal LostHiWay... I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon and order two myself.
Anyway, I don't see why nobody's considering GeiL memory. I've only heard great things about their high end sticks I think they deserve a mention for the guy who wants to spend around $100 for...
Suddenly this deal doesn't sound too hot anymore. I didn't even pay attention to the heading "Black Logo". Well it's still pretty cheap for optical mice, but every now and then you can get a nice retail version for $10 after instant rebate.

No offense to the guy who has this light on the side of his case but I've seen these lights at computer shows and I personally think they suck. Let me clear a couple things up.
First of all, this light "flickers on" when it feels vibration as opposed to sound so loud fans aren't gonna cut it...
I chose Free! Super Saver Shipping and then entered the coupon code and the total is $61.49
I don't think Amazon charges tax... at least not to me in VA. So this seems like a pretty good deal. Anyone else fnid this for cheaper somewhere else?

Isn't it only necessary to have that much more video memory if you run games at higher resolutions? For instance I have a 15" LCD and an LCD projector, both can only go as high as 1024x768. Wouldn't I opt for a 64MB card that's cheaper and has faster rated memory?

For the longest time the best bang for the buck has been the GF3 ti200, but now they throw the GF4 ti4200 into the mix. Now seriously... there are just way too many freakin' nVidia chipsets and variations out right now! I can't keep track of all the subtle difference in order to make a wise...

If you go look there you can see that this monitor can indeed do better than 1024x768 @ 66Hz... Sweet. I think I'll get one then.
640 x 480 @ 60 to 120 Hz
800 x 600 @ 55 to 110 Hz
832 x 624 @ 55 to 106 Hz
1024 x 768 @ 55...
The price ain't bad, however I wanna point out that according to Staple's website this monitor can do 1024x768 @ only 66Hz! If you value your eyes I'd stay away from this. If you don't plan on going higher than 800x600 then by all means go for it. Actually that refresh sounds really low, I'd...
You cannot get this board brand new for $88 at newegg. You can get it for $96 after shipping... that's a $36 difference from the refurbished one (with free shipping). Reason enough for me to purchase it.
<< just picked up the logitech cordless optical 2x for $35 shipped >>
What exactly is this "cordless" 2x optical you're talking about? The one linked here is corded and cherry red. The one I'm using right now is the two button cordless optical and I don't like it much. If they make a better...
You can get it here for $128 + shipping:
http://www.11cb.com/cgi-bin/miva?Merchant2/merchant.mv+Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CB&Product_Code=390512MAJ333&Category_Code=mddr
Shipping for me is $9.02 so the total is $137.02
The other day I ordered from another place for $139 with shipping so from what...
You can make any drive suitable for a Lian Li. I bought some silver spray paint and painted the faceplates of the DVD and CDRW drives (both Lite-On) to match the color of the silver Lian Li case I have. It looks tight. Should try it. You can easily pop off the face plate and the front of the...
Why is it called the PC-08? It looks like the PC-65. Is there a difference? I'm looking to get the PC-65 pretty soon, this would be a good deal, but I need to be positive about their service and shipping. I think I'll wait for more feedback here. These guys don't even have an 800 number.

Woohoo... I just got confirmation that I got two of them. Hopefully they won't send me a "Dear John" tomorrow (if their computer made a mistake and sold me one too many). Anyway, my luck with newegg's refurbs have been 0 for 2 so far. Bought a vid card and a motherboard... both were defective so...
If anyone has gotten a Buslink drive and it wasn't Lite-On, please post here. Thanks.
I want to ask about 16x Lite-On drives. Are they every bit as good as their 24x and 32x drives? I'm getting one for a friend who's only gonna burn at 16x max anyway, and you can get a 16x Lite-On for really...
Lite-On seems like the choice drives to get... everyone's looking for rebadged Lite-On 24x and 32x drives selling for less... but I wanted to ask about their 16x drives. Are they also top quality? I'm looking at getting a good quality one with decent DAE speed and I really like the 24x Lite-On...
Chuck2,
Can you tell us what the serial number on the box is? If there's a way we can tell that it's a Lite-On drive before opening it that would be great.
I just read through this entire thread (not that long) and I want this deal. However, with all the back and forth talk and with StaplesSucks getting all hyper about it, it sounds kinda confusing. Is it just me, or is it not clear what exactly you get and how exactly you get it? I really don't...
Does anyone know if Virtual Pool 3 is an improvement of VP2 or is it a totally different game off a revamped engine? I remember playing VP2 a long time ago and was really impressed... I just bought VP3 recently and I'm not so impressed. I'm just curious if perhaps VP2 was actually better than...
Hmmm... that seems pretty cheap. Is this really a good deal or do I just not know how cheap McAfee is? I use Norton but I like to have variety and options. Are these guys legit?

For a computer that'll completely blend in with your home entertainment system I prefer this unit:

and here's a better picture of it from the front:

What's EMS?
I bought these for $115 back when Dell had that special. I'm telling my friend to get these. Have they been that expensive all this time that $159 shipped is a deal? Wow.

What do you mean it is old style? I just bought one yesterday... I like the fact that it's silver. I think Silver DVD players look sweet compared to the dull black ones (at least the plain black Apex players look dull). Anyway, I thought this was one of their new models. From what I understand...
What other places are there to get cheap toners and cartridges? Megatoner is cool but they don't have every damn model. :( I'm looking for cheap refill for my sharp fax machine that's not listed at the megatoner site.

Actually I wasn't looking for something quite that fancy... the Sharp UX465L for $69 after savings looks like a better value for me. Question, though:
It's $120 minus $30 coupon minus $20 mail in rebate. Can I still purchase something else to bring it over $100 and then add the $20 off $100...
This looks pretty sweet. Is it really a good deal? Can I go pick it up at the store and use the $40 coupon? Can I use it on the same line with the built in answering machine? I wonder how this works. Does it pick up and listen for the fax tone and then switch to the answering machine...
I don't see why you can't use two rebates for two printers. How hard would it be to get a friend or neighbor to let you use their mailing address to get the second $10 check? In any case, there is a chance that you won't get the rebates cause it states that it cannot be combined with other...
The retail version comes with the hard disk utility, MaxBlast Plus... it also comes with a cable ($3 to $10 value depending on how you value it and if you need one at the moment) and a semi-useful 5.24" to 3.5" bay adapter so you can install the drive in a 5.25" external drive bay.
I...
CompUSA has them for $49.99 with $20 instant rebate this week. They were advertised as $49.99 - $10 instant rebate - $10 mail-in rebate, however the mail-in rebate form they provide does not cover this model so they changed it to a $20 instant rebate to make up for the difference! (at least...
