Instructions are usually found in readme.txt in the file packages.
Of course you should be carefull when flashing firmwares but I've never had any...
I live in Europe and at my local store I can get these cards for the same price.
What should I get?
I checked Anands reports and it seems like the MX440 have a small performance advantage. But are there any other factors that I should take into consideration?

Just wanted to mention that it doesnt work together with GF3 (maybe same prob with GF4) without the latest BIOS update.
It was a real bi**h to figure that one out. You wouldnt think that a brand new MB model wouldnt work with GF3's (tried 2 different !)...

The cpu is running at 50 degrees Celcius at 1800+ (1533Mhz right ?).
It started with some minor problems to get W2K installed... It went...
Could this really help since the network card was working when I was running windows in VGA mode before the graphic drivers were loaded?

But... My CD performance (cant see any HDD performance decrease) have gone down AND my comp hangs when trying to burn CDs.

A good soundcard that has worked very well for me is the Aopen 744. I think it has A3D and EAX support (havent been able to find any games that support it well though).

I only buy IBM drives. They really rock. I've had some Maxtor drives but the ball bearings seems to screw up after some time which creates a very high frequency noice that kills my ears.
