    Aperion Audio is definately the way to go. Affordable and they sound great. Thei bookshelf speakers should be in your price range and will work well. For the price these guys can't be beat. They only sell direct too.

    What do you mean dock with an AM/FM unit? I am using a Creative Zen Vision and I love it. it plays videos and music and sounds pretty good. I would definately avoid the Zune at all costs though. It sounds bad and is pretty limited as to what it can play.

    People need to remember that the UK is in the middle of all this. There is a big ocean called the Atlantic which seperates the US from any countries in the Eastern Hemisphere. The UK has to deal with them as surrounding countries.

    Sounds like they should be fine. Personally, I only buy Corsair or Crucial memory. I have built enough systems to know that you find a memory brand and stick with it because its good. Don't shop around too much. I find that you get what you pay for when it comes to memory.

    Sorry but no laptops that I know of support component video out. There might be an adapter out there somewhere which converts DVI to component video but I have yet to see it. The best output I have seen from a laptop to a TV is S-Video. Good luck!:)
