How can I get my Windows 10 laptop recognized on network quickly by its UNC address

I use a large domain network at work, with an always-on workstation and a laptop that goes home with me. When I am away with the laptop, on a home network for example, and return to work put my laptop in its dock in the morning, I cannot access from the workstation over Windows in File Explorer...
