Is there a way I can get Windows XP to look like Mac OS X?

Sapphire or PowerColor for Radeon 9600 128MB ?

replacing Nvidia with ATI, best way to remove drivers?

What a coincedence...I just replaced my GF3 Ti200 with a Radeon 9800 PRO today, and I went the re-format/fresh install routine, which IMHO is the best way to go to get of those pesky Detonator drivers. ;) However... Buck_Naked, since you said you don't have the time yet to do a fresh install...

Windows 2000 and PPPoE Problems

No, there isn't. Windows 2000 always has a 60-90 delay so it can load up all it's drivers, services, and tasks at start-up. In fact, XP did the very same thing up until recently when a patch was released to decrease load-up time (for some as as 2 minutes). So the truth is, there is NO problem...

Best FPS available right now? (deathmatch)

If you're looking for the best Deathmatch experience ( i.e NOT BF1942 ;) ) try Quake III coupled with the Rocket Arena mod. IMHO it's as good as Deathmatching can get. :D

Anyone here using Matrox Parhelia?

That's for sure. My father uses the Parhelia purely for professional-class 2D imaging work on 2 CRTs and through Composite TV-OUT. Now I admit I was pretty skeptical when he told me he bought the Parhelia. But, after seeing and using the Parhelia in my dad's PC, I'm pretty impressed with it...

tribes2 re-release

I'm definitely picking it up. I bought Tribes 2 when it was originally released, but due to incompatibilites with my old Voodoo5 (and a lot of nasty bugs), I returned it. But now with all the bug fixes, patched extras, and new mods, it should be enjoyable giving T2 another try. The $10 price...

When is NVIDIA and/or MS going to fix the 60Hz refresh rate problem?

Rick67: Go into your Windows/System Driectory and click on DXDiag. Then Click on "More Help" tab on the far right. Then click on the "Override" Tab. You will see a space that says "Override Value" Enter the Refresh Rate you want to use. This new Refresh Rate will be used under all resolutions...

New Radeon LE VS. Used GTS

It depends on what you primarily use your PC for. If your into 3D gaming to any serious level, I'd say go with the Geforce2. If not, go with the Radeon LE. Both are great cards, and you can't really go wrong with either one. :)

Unfourtunately No. :( Even though the PS2 has a 24x CD/4x DVD, it's plays all PS1 games at only 2x (the speed of the original PlayStation's Drive).

No. The PlayStation2 emulates the PS1 hardware exactly. So no, you won't see any framerate improvement. However, there are settings that do improve things like image quality enhancement and anti-aliasing, though these settings don't work with all PS1 games.
