No shower = cold deal:D
If they had a place to clean up it'd be great to go before work as they open usually around 5AM. Not worth having to drive back home and try to hustle to get to work on time.
Bummer was SO hoping that wouldn't be the case as it's a steal otherwise.
I have the Firewire/USB 2.0 version of this drive and have the same problem. Its been relegated to doing data backups so the whine is only endured on a weekly/monthly basis.
Found this referring to GameSpot's version but should work the same no matter where you downloaded it from...
How do I uninstall the GameSpot DLX Secure Delivery Plug-In from Windows XP?

The visuals are stunning. Interesting that you have to buy specific presents to get the other ladies to play VB with you. The VB engine is decent though it took awhile to get used to.
Not sure about a list but if they adhere to the standard it shouldn't be an issue. One likely issue with your girlfriend's connection is that the authentication protocol probably isn't setup correctly (LEAP, EAP, etc). If her school requires LEAP then the NIC has to support it through firmware...
Dell has really fallen down quality wise over the last few years. My employer is a Dell shop and the DOA machines and break-fix rate has gone through the roof. I'd definitely recommend an IBM over Dell. The IBMs are a few dollars more but keep in mind that like most things you get what you...
Call the cable company and ask about their "lifeline" package. Its basically the 2-13 channels for about $10/month. It gives you a backup of your locals in case the dish goes out and is essentially free in your situation.
Don't know how much you've looked but you can find a better deal than cable on one of the dish providers. I was cold called a couple of weeks ago by Dish Network and was offered a 3-room system, 1 of which was a PVR for free including professional installation. Now my landlord has put enough...
Just got the check this week for $140 also. Took about 6 weeks longer than the $10 rebate but SO worth it. Wound up with an 8MB model to boot. Thanks CC!!!
Ordered and received in about a week. OEM version looks just like the retail which I have at work. The only thing you don't get is the manual which isn't worth the paper its printed on.
thanks for the link. that was enough incentive for me not to buy anything. i was very, very close to ordering the lite-on, but now that i see lan dvd players are available i think im gunna hold out. i dont necessarily think i will purchase the oritron @ $250, but i think its only a matter of...
I'd highly recommend getting a stick of 512MB of PC2700. With just 256MB of RAM there seems to be some sluggishness but with 768MB it really flies. For doing video capturing/editing lotsa memory is a must!
