i would doubt it. Barton is the same core as the thorton but it also runs a 166 bus. If the board can run 166, then i'd say there is a chance, but i wouldn't bet on it.
if you're ok with integrated video the biostar km266 board is under $60, the biostar km400 comes in just over $60, and the ASUS nforce 220D board is currently about $65. I'd recommend going for one of those and save some money on the vid card that would go to waste.
I'm another CC'er in high school. my PR junior year was 18:26, which being a 5k race means i probably hit the 3 mile split around 18 flat. It's not an easy thing to do, but it's plausable for this guy.
That said, without competitive running of any kind, i'd doubt that he will pull it off. It...
1. I'm fairly certain that all nforce 2 mobo's are PCI locked due to the fact that the hypertransport link connecting the NB and SB is clockless(correct?). This makes a separate clockgen necessary for the PCI bus, so it should be autonomous of other system clocks.
2. None that i'm aware of
a fortron source 300 watter would be a great choice. there is even a model with a 120mm fan that is very nice and rather quiet (though the model with the 80mm fan is far from loud unless running under a lot of stress in a hot environment)
this movie is a great change of pace from the typical summer fare. It's not a sequel nor a true action flick, although the ending is still puzzling me.
i seem to remember that Puff-Daddy/Jimmy Page song off the godzilla soundtrack was a hit
others that i seem to remember though they don't really fit the bill for hip-hop/r&b (not sure if they were '98 but fairly sure):
fastball - the way
Semisonic - closing time
Wallflowers - One headlight
$400 for the computer itself is fairly reasonable. I think it is fair to assume that she does not do anything particularly stressfull going from the fact that she has been ok with a p200 for this long. I would recommend something fairly basic; a KM266 board (like the M7VIG pro), a t-bred 1700+...
pretty sure they are rebadged enlights but i could be wrong. the part numbers are the same, and they look indentical. on the other hand, i can't say i've ever compared the innards of thermaltake or enlight PSU's with those of a channelwell.
thermaltake just rebadges enlight PSU's as their own. Enlights are ussually cheaper so i'd say just go with the equivilent enlight PSU. enlight (and thermaltake) PSU's are not the best around, but they are quiet, reliable, and well priced. Enlight makes quality products, i would not hesitate to...
i'm not so sure that card is an ultra. the FX5200ultra comes clocked at 325/325(650). 4ns ram is only rated to 250(500)mhz, thus i doubt that it is something they would be advertising. futhermore, if those pics are accurate, it is NOT and ultra due to the TSOP ram packaging as opposed to BGA...
i wouldn't run the board without the fan. I wouldn't bother replacing it either though as zalman makes a nice northbridge sink that you can get for about the same price as a replacement fan. it offers better cooling without the noise. you can also find a VERY similar heatsink from places like...
notice how there isn't even a radeon 7500 listed, or an 8500, or ANYTHING geforce 4 (Ti or MX). Heck, it didn't even list an 845G chipset choice. That survey is old buddy, and thus is not a good source of info.
i would think that star wars galaxies will have a much bigger influence than doom3. just an opinion, but i think that the doom franchise is very limited in its appeal. I doubt galaxies will have requirements anywhere near doom3, but i think it has that wider appeal to get non-gamers gaming and...
it looks more plain than most other cases. all in the eye of the beholder though i suppose. i rather like the industrial look to it.
either way, it is a solid case that has great cooling potential and plenty of room for a WC setup or something like that.
Newegg is now carrying the Lite-On FS-020 for $82 shipped without a PSU. This is THE CASE for watercoolers. plenty of room inside and out. room for 2 120mm fans in the back (one included). the FS-020 has never been this cheap before.
happy hunting
and how is this funny?
i mean come on, you got 20 bucks out of the deal. that's 20 dollars more than i would get for crapping out my window:)
this is a dumb things you've done thread, a thread to boast about 20 bucks thread.
geez
dude, is there a dental school near you? a lot of universities are always looking for patients and they work cheap. a friend of mine always goes to the U of M for dental work and has been pleased with the results. I'd look into that 1st if i were you.
just noticed something that will hopefully help myself and some others pondering the same decision. the part number newegg lists
M368L6423DTL-CB3
turns out is a samsung part number
check it out
also one user review says that it is samsung original. the samsung data sheet seems to all but...
